Back from scan.

Baby's head is slightly mis-shapen. Doctor said there could be a serious reason for this, or she could just have a mis-shapen head. Some baby's do as the skull is not fully formed and it could simply be caused by pressure from the fluid or the way she is lying.

He said if he had to bet, he would say there is a 80-90% the baby is normal. However just to be certain he wants to refer me to the regional specialists in Newcastle, to see what they think. I'm off there on Wednesday.

Feel happier after speaking to him, as he seemed quite positive.

Got my glucose test results and they were normal, so I'm not diabetic, but still waiting for some other blood test results.

Mentioned my awful swollen and itchy feet and legs. That could be connected to liver function, so they took more blood off me to test for that.

In the mean time, they said I can take Piriton tablets to stop the itching. That's good news for me as a single dose knocks me out, so at least I'll get some decent sleep tonight!

Me too, applied online and the towel and beaker arrived this morning. Filled beaker with water and gave it to DD who is just about 6 months (when they suggest starting with beakers). She couldn't work out how to drink from it, but spent ages holding it and staring at the water moving about, absolutely captivated she was! :rotfl:

Becles, that is good news, sounds like he was pretty reassuring.
