    Hi,
just taken myself off the list. I went for a scan yesterday and discovered I have an anembryonic pregnancy - i.e the foetus hasn't properly developed.

Best wishes, Jo. Lots of us on this thread have had similar experiences, unfortunately. :(

Hope to see you back here when the time is right for you. Take care of yourself. xx

We got the little cow too, he's been christened MooJim - don't ask - my husband's choice! DD2 absolutely adores MooJim, he's the perfect size for little hands and gets cuddled very tightly at bedtime and his horns are perfect for gummy chewing! :rotfl:

    Rooibos tea
    x

is Afrikaans, and the tea originates from South Africa, and they really shouldn't do direct translations. Sounds so naff.

You either love it or you hate it.

I have, and at different times during my life too.

I will try it as soon as my appetite for tea and coffee comes back. I haven't touched a drop since I was 6 weeks gone (not even a Starbucks latte!). Surprisingly, I'm quite partial to the odd cup of Ovaltine nowadays :o

Ooh, understatement! I had to take a special drive to my far away nearest LLoys pharmacy. What a waste of time that was.

As to the Bounty packs, no Asda near me, so got mum to get it from hers. She's been trying for weeks and is apparently getting to be good friends with the lady at the customer service counter . None in stock EVER.

How do you get all these freebies? I've signed up with EVERYONE on the net. So far I have a little cow, two weaning spoons and possibly lots of vouchers. All I want is the tiny sudocrem!

I'll send you my ickle tub of sudocrem, if you want x

Yeah, I had the same problem with my local Asda. Went back in on Saturday and saw a woman picking her Bounty pack up so ran (almost) over to the desk and they said they thought it was the last one. They told me to get my shopping while they had a look. Got it in the end. I wouldn't mind but I had only gone in there two days before.
  • dunno if its been said but sign up for hipp organic for when your babas are here - they give fab freebies!

I missed out on the Bounty pack for Mums-to-Be. You could only get it from Boots, not Asda when I got my card.

I kept trying and trying in different Boots stores for weeks to get one. Finally a lady said they had them, popped one in a carrier bag and took my card. Got home and discovered I'd been given a pack designed for about 6 months old babies, as it had some baby rice and powdered breakfast cereal samples in it.

Took it back to the store, but they refused to exchange it for the correct pack in case I'd tampered with it, and refused to give me my card back too. The samples were of no use as the dates were too short to keep them, so I lost out :(
Here I go again on my own....
