anyway... we asked if it was ok to film a bit of the scan with our camera and this is what we got! the last 15 seconds are amazing, when she holds the scanner thing still and you see the baby move!

Yep :j The scanning lady saw his "testimonials and a tinkle" as she referred to them (a medical term obviously) :rotfl:

finally had my scan on wednesday... its NOT TWINS!!! (i knew it!) and not 6 weeks ahead of my dates (i knew that nurse was talking out of her butt)

according to my dates i was 10 weeks 5 days, the midwife said i was measuring 10 weeks 1 day,

awww - that's lovely! Thanks for sharing it.

I wish I'd filmed mine now. The baby was bouncing up and down like a mad thing on my first scan and it was really funny.

Just been for my 34 week check up. I've grown a lot in the last 2 weeks, so I'm getting an extra scan on Tuesday. I've got horrible stretch marks that are itchy on the bottom of my bump, which she said is fluid engorgement, so I'm probably carrying too much liquid. The baby feels about the right size, but she wants a scan just to make sure as I'm hoping for a home delivery.

Baby's head is also 4/5 engaged, so that makes it all seem much closer too.
Here I go again on my own....
  • Thanks guys :D
    we cant stop watching it!

    Becles, just noticed your date!

I had my 25 week check with the MW yesterday. It was the first time I was measured and she said I'm measuring at the top end of the scale. I've carried the line along and if I continue at this size and go full term I'll be having a 9lb'er. Very much a legs crossed I wanted a nice normal 7lb'er as I was.

Curious George that video is fab, I wish we'd thought to film it on our phone, so nice to have for the future.
