I bought 4 packets of disposables when my son was 4 months old in South Africa. We didn't use them the whole year we lived in Zimbabwe (that is 3 of the 4 packets), and then when we came to the UK, I freighted then over here, so that we didn't spend expensive UK money on nappies. They didn't last long here, but talk about being tight.

Hi, I've just found this thread. WOW, what a lot of info and topics to work through.

We are due on the 14th Oct 07 after 5 years of TTC and just about to start IVF ... but we conceived naturally.

I am just loving being pregnant but am sooo tired all of the time! Fortunately I dont work and so can sleep when I need to but I kindof feel like life is on hold at the moment ... I thought things were supposed to get better after the end of the first trimester!

I had my 20 week scan yesterday and am over the moon that all is well after my earlier problems! Very excited that it is a little boy, it will be lovely to have one of each! Have you got your scan soon emma_b? I think we are due around the same time. :j

Thank you and congratulations on the news you are going to have a little boy! I can't wait to have my 20 week scan. I had one at 6, 8 and 12 weeks and it was very reassuring.

Congratulations, and welcome to the board.

I am expecting my third, in November, but I am still waiting for my MW appointment and scan. The postman seems to be avoiding my house !!!!

finally had my scan on wednesday... its NOT TWINS!!! (i knew it!) and not 6 weeks ahead of my dates (i knew that nurse was talking out of her butt)

according to my dates i was 10 weeks 5 days, the midwife said i was measuring 10 weeks 1 day,

anyway... we asked if it was ok to film a bit of the scan with our camera and this is what we got! the last 15 seconds are amazing, when she holds the scanner thing still and you see the baby move!

this might be my second time round but i still cant believe the baby is that active and i cant feel a thing!!
