Neither set of grandparents has been able to sleep recently. This has been suggested by more than one of them!:D
Thanks you lovely lot. I'm going to try not to be too blue round DH now. He's been fantastic. I couldn't have done this without him.

Gingham - every pregnant woman feels like that at some point in the pregnancy and you've had far more than your fair share of ailments and discomfort in this pregnancy alone!
You know it will all be worth it when little 'un finally arrives but we're always here if you need to moan. xx0

If it's any consolation, I had one of those moments today
I saw a physio for pelvic pain and have been diagnosed with SPD. I now have to wear a big support belt that goes round my lower back and under my bump and holds my pelvis in the right position. Bang goes my sex appeal
The physio said if that didn't work, the next step would be wearing this huge girdle type thing, that goes from your waist to the top of your thights - even sexier
Don't beat yourself up over it. We all feel like this sometimes.
You've done a smashing job so far, and you've only got a little while to go until you'll be holding the little chap in your arms. Keep focused on that first cuddle and that will see you through Here I go again on my own....0 Here I go again on my own....0

Me too and it sounds like you've had it miles worse than me. I don't know how I'd manage if I had another child to look after already as I've not been well enough to look after myself never mind someone else.Gingham_Ribbon wrote:Yup. That's a positive!:j

Just wondering if anybody has any tips on how to eat enough when there's no room because of the baby? I'm 28 weeks and have only gained 5lbs so far. It's partly due to having lost so much weight from sickness earlier on but this last week I seem to have lost a pound whereas I was gaining a pound eaver week or two before that. The trouble is I'm finding it so difficult to eat decent sized meals. For example on Wednesday on a meal out I just had a starter as a main course when everyone else had starter main course and deseert.0

            Hi gingham.
Sorry to hear about the bad time your having :grouphug: my last pregnancy was like yours with @ 3 hospital admissions, 2 blood tranfusions, 2 infections and ended up with a c section.
This time has been a bit easier but have had SPD for @ 6 weeks now its at it's worst. Got a c section booked for 19th Feb when I will be 38+6 and will have to have a tranfusion before hand as I am badly anemic and the op could put me in a dangerous place. I tried to have it earlier but like yourself had no luck.
This pregnancy stuff is really hard work! but don't worry it will soon come to an end. keep you head up.
Edited to say as long as I have the transfusion before c section I should be ok. If I dont, then problems could arise.
Should have put [..as I am badly anemic and the op could put me in a dangerous place without one.]
Sorry if i scared any one it's not as bad as it looks0

I found eating normal meals impossible. Just went for the little and often approach. Don't worry too much about the not putting on weight thing. I had much the same with my most recent pregnancy - lost 3/4 of a stone through the sickness and then only gained 9lbs before daughter was born. She was a healthy 7lb 11oz. The advantage is that you don't struggle to lose weight put on during the pregnancy, although now she's three months old I'm still struggling to get back into my pre pregnancy jeans even though I weigh less than I did when I last wore them :rolleyes:0
