Shame, I was looking forward to a curry too

I was looking on a pregnancy website yesterday and I thought this was a really good one...

Fingers crossed - I had a very small bleed around the same time and was pretty worried. However, after scaring myself silly with horror stories online, I found one site that said almost half of women have a little bleed somewhere between 5 and 7 weeks.
I do hope this is the case for you.The IVF worked;DS born 2006.0 -
Hi Emma
Just to say, if you have any bleeding during your pregnancy do see your midwife or GP. It's probably nothing to worry about but you must have it checked out. At the least it'll put your mind at rest.
Let us know how it goes
Take care

Best wishes, Emma. Hope the scan is able to put your mind at rest. xx
I can remember posting on your thread about blighted embryos last year after I miscarried at 8 weeks. I found your advice and experience really helpful and supportive at the time and, happily, am now 14 weeks pregnant.

It is hard, but please do stay positive. I lost blood with my third pregnancy and was truely petrified after losing a previous baby. I was about ten weeks at the time. It turned out that all was well. My daughter turned 1 1/2 yesterday. My consultant said that sometimes, it's just one of those things and there's no real reason for it. The bleeding just stopped after a few days.
Get plenty of rest.
Good luck with the scan tomorrow. xxx"One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -

My scan is next Tues so hoping all is well. Had a mc and mmc so third time lucky this time round I'm hoping. We are so lucky to have dd,3. I am just over 6weeks.
Had to rush to Drs last night after dd developed chicken pox and I need to go and get tested today. Dr said 90% chance i should be immune. O/T but is there any other tips other than calamine lotion for chicken pox? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Calamine in aqueous cream. Your local chemist should stock it. It's much easier to apply than normal calamine lotion. Instead of dabbing a dribbly liquid on with cotton wool, you just rub it into the skin like a normal body moisturiser. Much easier and less messy!
I gave my sons Piriton syrup for the itching too. Both got through it without much discomfort using that and the cream. Here I go again on my own....0
