Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for all your best wishes and support - it really means a lot to me.

I just wanted to let you all know that we had my first baby scan yesterday and it was wonderful and I felt silly to be so worried! I've been put back a week so I'm only 12 1/2 weeks pregnant now - but so delighted that everything is going really well.

I can't sleep after getting up to pee at 3am but back to work today so off to try again for another hour or so. I'm just too excited! We told lots of friends last night on the phone so that's got me all excited again and I'm nervous about telling my work today.

It feels really real now - whoopeee!

emma_b - I didn't have an early scan, but from what the girls on my pregnancy forum say and from their pics, I think you can see a tiny bean with a heartbeat!

I hope you are all really well - I'll copy and cut the due date post thing as well and amend my due date - eeek!

My friend has her first scan next week, after 1 mc few years back, and years of trying. Going along for moral support!!
My 20 wk scan this Friday, sooo nervous,anxious,scared,happy,excited,weiry. (Wearing waterproof mascara & taking tissues this time):D

Just wanted to add myself to the TTC list Just stopped taking the pill, and secretly hoping for a swift result! No children as yet, OH and I have been together about 15 months, very excited but trying to keep a lid on it - could take aaaages!

As to what you may be able to see in the scan, i've found a great uk site that shows you week by week how your baby is progressing. You can join up and receive weekly e-mails, that show how baby is getting on.

I had my 20 week scan on the 29/12 and it was sooooo amazing to see my peanut has got so big. the scan lady (sorry don't know what their called) took a picture of peanut looking at the screen and it was just so clear and unbeliveable. The lady said she could tell me what it was if i wanted to know. I said no but i kind of wish i said yes now.

Just found out im expecting my second child tonight!!! Last period was 10th Dec so due date is 16th Sept 2007!!
