just wanted to say good luck for your scan tomoro im sure all will be fine!
im the same as you im dreading my scan in one way but excited in another, im trying not to think about it too much. mines next tues and ill be 7 weeks. they have booked me in early due to MC last may, but now im stressing thinking is it too early?! what will they see?!

anyway let us know how you get on ill be thinking of you!

Got pregnant on wedding night, so only wore ring for 6 weeks before it became too tight!

Bizarrely I have the same but opposite problem with my wedding/engagement rings as I lost a load of weight due to so much sickness early on. I daren't get them resized at the moment as I'm convinced that if I do my fingers will suddenly swell so am wearing them on a chain round my neck as I don't feel right just not wearing them.

Me to. I was convinced there would be nothing there or that maybe it hadn't survived. I balled my eyes out when I saw the little thing wriggling around. Hope all went well today fingers crossed. x

Also had a couple of pairs from Dorothy Perkins and whilst they were not the most fashionable they also stayed put. By 34 weeks that was all I cared about, having spent the previous 20 weeks forever hoiking my jeans up. Good luck with your search.

Pre pregancy I am was a size 18, and everything I've seen has been for beanpoles with bumps.

I bought all mine from a chain store surplus shop on ebay, so I'm not sure which shops they came from.

However I've got 2 styles of trousers. One style has a very thick elastic waist band that you cannot alter. I hate these as they keep rolling down.

The second style are much better. They are like normal trousers, with a thin casing round the top with elastic in. The elastic has button holes on it, and there's a button on the inside of the waistband. You pull them in to fit, then let them out as you get bigger. These trousers come up higher than the other ones and stay put!

For at home I've been buying cheap jogging bottoms a couple of sizes larger than my normal clothes sizes and they fit fine.

I already have a dd, and also had a dd who passed away, so this will be my 3rd child..
Am with the dad but we dont live together ( he lives 7 houses down from me lol, suits us, but might change when baby comes:rolleyes: )

Hi everyone,

Thanks so much for all your best wishes and support - it really means a lot to me.

I just wanted to let you all know that we had my first baby scan yesterday and it was wonderful and I felt silly to be so worried! I've been put back a week so I'm only 12 1/2 weeks pregnant now - but so delighted that everything is going really well.

I can't sleep after getting up to pee at 3am but back to work today so off to try again for another hour or so. I'm just too excited! We told lots of friends last night on the phone so that's got me all excited again and I'm nervous about telling my work today.

It feels really real now - whoopeee!

emma_b - I didn't have an early scan, but from what the girls on my pregnancy forum say and from their pics, I think you can see a tiny bean with a heartbeat!

I hope you are all really well - I'll copy and cut the due date post thing as well and amend my due date - eeek!

I didn't get much morning sickness, but have the same problem! I lost 2.5 stone shortly before falling pregnant, which probably started it, but then a few weeks ago (at 15w) my wedding ring went flying through the air in a supermarket, all of its own accord! So now it sits at home, waiting for my fingers to either swell or for me to get something decent to wear it round my neck
