    Hi Mouseann
I'm a newbie here and just posted my SOA yesterday on here, just wanted to say that it was reading your thread that gave me the confidence to do this and am so glad I did. I am seriously up to my neck but take heart from you brave people so thank you! So hoping this all works out for you xx

    Hi & Welcome

I remember reading your post yesterday and to be honest I legged it the minute I noticed there 4 adults, but then having just checked your thread again I see it was not a joke but that you'd included grown up kids as adults (usually we refer to actual parents when we do SOA for adults).....

Thread is here for those that want to see it: please help, life has never seemed so bad...

If you get no joy and wish to pursue unenforceability, let me know but RAS and co will keep you on track over in your own thread - he knows his stuff :D

Good Luck and whatever you do, stop worrying - it is not illegal nor unethical to be in debt - just take each day as it comes and don't be consumed by the guilt or pressures of being in debt. :o

    Hi pocketshell and welcome

It's always good to look at other threads and realise that you're not on your own. There are loads of us who have made the wrong decisions financially but don't beat yourself up about it. You've done the right thing by posting your soa and you'll get some great advice (advice not criticism.)

Any time you want a bit of light relief, post on here. It really does help to 'chat' with people who understand and it takes your mind off the problems for a while.

Have just come inside for a coffee,

My back is twingeing so will probably use that as an excuse for not doing any more - well, for today, at least!

Really that makes me a light-weight in the gardening department!

After my coffee I am going to sort out some documents - so not really skiving - well, not much, anyway!

I'm off out to do some gardening now.

    Speak to you all later.

Ann - sorting out documents is NOT skiving, it's jolly hard work!

    Hi Never in doubt
thank you for that. sorry about the 4 adult thing, they get refered to as adults all the time now and I get told off for not letting them grow up !!!! Hoping I can make some changes with the advice I got yesterday, really grateful to all who posted, not sure yet about the unenforceability issue, worried I might make things more difficult for us. I'm going to check out your thread, thank you

As a newbie, can I ask a question which I am sure most here know the answer to, but am sure newbies would like to learn a bit more of.

Looking at your joining date, you have not been here since the year dot, but you clearly have either had, gained or both, alot of knowledge in this minefield. I'm under the impression that it was not a debt issue that brought you on board initially, but you have certainly taken the bit between the teeth with regard to fighting for the person on the street and there are alot of grateful people out there, not just for the advice you give, but the support to stick to the battle and come out winning.
