I know that feeling well, Pixie!

I think 20 was the most I received in one day - and didn't speak to one of them! And that is just on the landline - they ring the mobile as well but I don't check that very often! Not sure how long it goes on for! Have onl had 6 today on the landline - haven't checked the mobile.

But I realise I am being stubborn - Niddy did advise that I change my phone number! Not sure how long it goes on for - I unplug my phone if I have visitors, which is a bit of pain!

Had another 4 calls while I was watching Springwatch

I'm not changing my phone numbers either Ann. I've had them both for years and they are a matching pair. I've done nothing wrong so why should I change them?

    Well said, Pixie.

I feel very much the same way!

Actually, I noticed a pattern yesterday. A few first thing in the morning and nothing during the afternoon and then they started after 6 in the evening and went on until 9:30. Think they are set up on automatic dialling systems but not sure how long this will continue. As said before, it is really only when I have visitors when it is an issue.

It is good he is interested in something and those sound like an fascinating subjects. Ms Moneypenny can tell us hopefully tomorrow what he can do with those as she knows a lot about careers. Isn't it great we are learning so much?

If you're referring to Fitzer's post, I think it was a joke - not very funny though.

Am about to head off to bed.

Nothing much on the telly - have been watching News24 and saw that Cameron has invited old ma Thatcher to visit No.10 and they had their photo taken on the doorstep. He didn't encourage her before the election - that might have lost him a few votes!

Am now wonderng if this means that we are getting swingeing cuts from the new Tory government, reminiscent of the Thatcher days. And if we Thatcherism comes back, the greedy bankers are set to make even more money than they already have!

All very well for the Tories to go on about the cuts - but they are hardly going to feel it as most of them are millionaires anyway!

    End of political rant!

    Hi Locke,

Think this is the first post from you? Welcome to the mad thread!

Think you may be a bloke?

Locke's gone offline. He's another one that Niddy's helping with unenforceability. I say 'he' but he might be a 'she'. Well, if Locke is a 'she' it'll make a change from thinking that posters are women when they're men :D
