    Night Jinny,

And well done in standing up to the phone bullies!

You are getting quite good at this, aren't you?

Thanks for the welcome everyone. Yes, Mouseann, a mucked up retirement indeed. All my debts were monies (foolishly I know) put into the firm of which I was a director in a desperate attempt to keep 10 other people employed, alas to no avail, we went under anyway.

Actually, life is so much better now even though I'm skint because I don't have the horrible stress anymore of trying to pay wages, VAT, PAYE etc etc and I've already been through the constant phone calls and so on from the creditors though I realise that would all start again for a while if my debts prove to be unenforceable.

It's an amazing piece of work that Nid has done on these threads and I can see he's helped so many people. Where does he get his energy from?? :T

    Hi Pollycolly,

At least you have the consolation of knowing that you were running a business and giving people work.

I don't even have that excuse! Just got into a huge muddle with day-to-day living and not admitting I was in a muddle!

You are so right about NID's energy - he sometimes stays on here until 4:00 in the morning helping people! Whereas I really need my sleep!

Keep posting on here - it is a brilliant support mechanism!

    Niddy doesn't look a day over 21 ;)

I don't post often on this thread but I've been lurking...it's gone from being doom and gloom to a much happier place :T

As a newbie reading this thread from the beginning yesterday, and seeing the change in mouseann's relief as the pages grew with positive comments, it has certainly helped me accept my debt problems, and although I have yet to properly start on the road to financial freedom
I now have some hope thanks to NID and the many supportive people here.....:)
