Will we get told off for not talking about finance? (just popped in from work, on way to counsellor)

Make sure you all remember to vote tomorrow! Oh that is not financial either!

I have sold a cd on Ebay. Just found out listing is free on Fri/Saturday of this week i think.

Blimey !! everyone is showing their ages now......so okay I'll join in. Forget the children's programmes....does anyone remember a programme called " Oh Boy "...it featured to groups and singers. I remember drooling over Cliff Richard singing with the Shadows, amongst others......Billy Fury, Joe Brown, and many more ( I can't remember) I must have been about 7 at the time, so it would have been around 1958/59......Now look what you've all done...*.elsie wanders off to reminice......when I was a gal.!!*

    Oh, Elsie,

I certainly do remember that programme - think it was in the days of Radio Luxembourg, when we had difficulty in getting our "fix" of pop music!

Only thing was, I was a lot older than 7!!!

    Well said, SW,

It really annoys me - people who can't be bothered to vote!

Best of luck with the counselling!

NID how do you stay so nice and humble & helpful when you know everyone thinks you are fab? Are you ever tempted to be horrible?

    Night Jinny,

And well done in standing up to the phone bullies!

You are getting quite good at this, aren't you?
Hi Mouseann just popping in for a quick cuppa how are you today any news yet from them thar peskie dca's? Yes i certainly feel good standing up to the phone bullies. I think I get a sick pleasure from putting them in their place, once you've seen one off, the rest are easy. I think they know by your confident voice you are no push over. (Nids fab statement about the Data protection act helps)this makes them run back to the public toilet of an office where they work. Why dont they get a decent job i dont know how they sleep at night. I used to work with a bloke who's son got a job with a debt collector while he was at uni and he bragged how he was the top caller! Any hoo end of rant hope everyone is ok and talk later.

    Hi Jinny,

Good to hear from you. Hope you managed to get that paperwork sent off.

Am currently waiting to hear from NID about another one of my accounts, for which an absolute mound of paperwork arrived in the post.

Good that you have a strategy for the bullies - I am still avoiding them!

Well their typed, printed off (£26 for ink!!!!!) had to pay that as I needed it asap for letters. I dont use the printer that much so should last a while though. They are still lying on my kitchen table to be taken to the post office, with postal orders and reg and recorded. Im so lazy with anything like this, honestly I dont know why I just dont just get on with it. :o

I do know what you mean, Jinny.

But - think how much better you will feel when you get the replies and NID tells you that they are unenforceable ....
