Don't expect it to last long, because I will have to pay HSBC/First Direct.
And I grew up in the 60s. Wish I was still that age!!!
Re HSBC Group - Hmmm, not necessarily - lets wait and see.;) Out of interest, when did you open the accounts?

Fantastic news. Ann you can enjoy your retirement. I am getting quite emotional, it's like watching a house of cards tumble.
You are going to be able to relax soon !!!! Well done the NID.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -

Well, a 60s teen really! But I remember Woodstock and the Summer of Love. Didn't dare touch the drugs, though - but I did know people who did when I was a student!
On a more serious issue - HSBC card think it was around 1990, when it was the Midland. The First Direct was about the same time.
And, to answer your previous post, I could NOT cope if you were working against me - would have given in ages ago!!!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -

When you were little did you want to be in Starsky and Hutch? Remember the Dukes of Hazzard, Kojak Hawaii Five O?
Oh my gosh. Proper telly. With 3 channels and Bagpuss, Paddington, The Flumps and the Mister Men.
I love being the nutter on this thread as i can say what i like and noone ever tells me off!!!!

Haha - I thought you were going to say I was a year older then! But that's ok, just means you'll be 40 before me :rotfl::rotfl:
Nah, when I was younger I wanted a blue peter badge, you know?:(:(
When I was a lad, they brought out BetaMax and then when ET came out (illegal copy) we had to get a VHS cos the copy was on VHS! :rotfl:2010 - year of the troll

Woodstock 2010 - sounds great doesn't it? :rotfl::rotfl:
Right you may be ok then, i'd be looking for two lots of terms with HSBC (i.e the original and the variable when they changed names) PLUS, being 1st Direct only formed in 1989,lots of their first tranche agreements were quite a mess, so its not all doom and gloom
Aaaaw, i'd not be working against you though - that's the difference, imagine it - Niddy the [STRIKE]w@anker[/STRIKE] banker..... nah, no thanks! :eek:2010 - year of the troll
