Thanks Locke,
Haven't yet got round to changing my number - I need to think of an excuse for telling my family and friends. I am still using the BT "choose to refuse" service but, as you say, I need to keep changing the list of "blocked" numbers.
Just a small question - I am NOT answering the phone to these people - haven't spoken to even one of them yet - I either let the machine pick it up (they never leave a message) or I just click the phone on and off again! I am not sure whether the fact that I don't actually speak to them still means that I can accuse them of hassle? I have checked the phone numbers and recorded the dates and times of the phone calls.
You are right about the different numbers they use, Locke. Quite crafty!
I don't see why not as long as you've made it clear you're only prepared to have contact in writing, I remember NID writing a letter for someone the other week who had received 93(?) calls in a week that they hadn't answered.
Yes they do change their numbers quite a bit, on Sunday I had 4 calls from Barclaycard all from the same number apart from the last 2 digits so they must be using a block of them.0 -
Morning all. Glorious here. It is a long work day for me 11-5.15. yuk! Have a good day all.
NID we will only give you a blue peter badge if you learn to do housework!!!
Dont let any rotters get you down.

Morning everyone,
Just popped on to say "hello". Nothing to report.
Have a good da at work SW - hope it doesn't feel really long.
And I don't really see how NID is going to have any time to do housework - don't think it goes with his job description of saving the world!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -

Thanks NID,
This has also answered one of my questions. The 12+2 days are up on the majority of my accounts but I will wait another 2 weeks before sending the chasers.
And, as you have already said, no news is good news - so am hoping for some quiet "post days"!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
Good morning,
Glorious weather here so going for a walk with my daughter and grand-daughter soon. Just got my post... a brochure for P&O Cruises!! If only...0 -
Enjoy your walk Pixiechick,
It's probably more healthier (and less fattening!) than a cruise!
Not to mention cheaper ...."What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -

Thats it mate - I did do that letter but thing is, although the calls have now stopper, you have to unfortunately follow process or the templates become a headache for the lender to the point they ignore almost everything you send in.
Basically, when they are in default/unenforceable we can then force them to stop the harassment, until which it does become a pain.2010 - year of the troll

Ann, we'll only send the CCA Reminder to certain lenders, so don't send anything til at least a month since your original CCA Request was signed for. So if say Barclays signed on April 10th, you'd let me know on May 10th that I need to do something (lol)....
With some (Barclays for instance) we jump the reminder and go straight for the CCA Dispute as they do not acknowledge the reminder letter - it also cuts 30 days waiting away from them, being I can tell you now what they will send - oh, no need - you've already seen :rotfl: (sorry, the irony is dripping)
Regards to the email, will post a reply now for you - what do you think? Goodor bad
news?

Thanks NID,
I really appreciate the way you are holding my hand in this matter.
Not sure what to think about the email - it looked a bit more correct than the Barclays or HBOS stuff, so am not counting any chickens .....
