Thanks NID,
I really appreciate the way you are holding my hand in this matter.
Not sure what to think about the email - it looked a bit more correct than the Barclays or HBOS stuff, so am not counting any chickens .....
Thanks again.
LOL, i'm not letting anything slip by, worry not!
It is, like all the others to date, 100% unenforceable :T
Send this - I want to see what they really have tucked away (the application form does not have or link to PT's)!: CCA Query2010 - year of the troll

Thanks and bless you, NID,
I thought you were going to tell me that one was enforceable. Will send the letter and wait for their next response.
I am still waiting for the documentation for a Debenhams card from Santander but the agreement for that is way old - somewhere in the 1970s (I think) - probably before you were born! It will be very interesting to see whether they find that an what their responses are.

Hi SW,
Welcome back! Hope your long day hasn't been too bad.
And you are so right - NID is just a star! I am so lucky to have him on my side!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -

Hehe - it's better than having me arguing unenforceability against you I s'pose :rotfl:Thanks and bless you, NID,

Hiya Ann
Sorry, that message was deliberate to make you "think" it could be enforceable - was just teasing;) No prescribed terms, means no matter what it will remain unenforceable until such time they produce a compliant copy - which they can't, cos i've seen what they do have :rotfl:
Regards to the debenhams card, lol - you can safely assume that will be UE as well. I told you at outset, before any of this that I expect a maximum of 4 to be enforceable, the rest UE. This has changed to maybe 2 being UE which we cannot confirm until you stop using them (HSBC/1st Direct)....
You'll be fine, you must be happy at having money this month? hehe:D

Well, it worked!
I thought that it was enforceable!
Have sent HSBC/First Direct the CCA letter today, because my occupational pension has been paid into my new bank account. Haven't used the cards for about 2 months. No doubt you will advise me what do to if/when they come back as enforceable!
And, yes, peversely I do have some money left at the end of the month - rather than month left at the end of the money (which I had to supplement by using a credit card!) This is despite my income being reduced to about a third of what it was! Don't expect it to last long, because I will have to pay HSBC/First Direct.
And I grew up in the 60s. Wish I was still that age!!!"What does not kill me makes me stronger". Frederich Nietzsche, 1844-1900.0 -
NID, you are a year younger than me!
When you were little did you want to be in Starsky and Hutch? Remember the Dukes of Hazzard, Kojak Hawaii Five O?
Oh my gosh. Proper telly. With 3 channels and Bagpuss, Paddington, The Flumps and the Mister Men.
I love being the nutter on this thread as i can say what i like and noone ever tells me off!!!!
