tescos glitch 3 for £2 on shampoos

i did my normal grocery order yesterday for delivery this afternoon, stumbled across the goodies at 3 for £2 - had to look twice as i couldn't believe my eyes! i only went for some of my fave mcadam brunette conditioner as i've got a huge stockpile already, all in stock & received ok this afternoon. wished i'd gone for more now!
edit: that will teach me to type before reading & understanding properly! just checked my receipt, i've been charged the full £3.50 for each one...have emailed to query the price charged against what the offer was when i ordered online, not holding out much hope of a refund!0 -
strange, when i open tesco website i can't see the 3 for £2 offer any more, but my sister (half a mile down the road) can still see the offer on the web page??
Does anyone know why this is the case? And truth be told I miss you...And truth be told I'm lying0 -
Still showing the offer is available for Charles Worthington, John Frieda and McAdam at Tesco's Hatfield.0

i went to tesco today and the sign on shelf said 3 for £2 so got 3 shampoo and 3 conditiner, when i paid it all went through at full price £28.80 for the 6 instead of £4 so went to customer services and had to wait for a manager to come then he went off for ages and came back and said he would refund the money i was over charged £24.80 so i pointed to the Our Promise sign which was right next to us about the double the difference and he said there was no way he would give me dtd and the products so i only got what i was overcharged and a £5 gift card as a good will gesture.
so can i do anything else about this or as he was the manager is that it ????0 -

When I click through haircare> professional haircare, I see everything on the offer... the ones mentioned above plus Andrew Colligne and Brill Brunette, and here was me thinking it was just John Frieda and Charles Worthington *considers modifying online order*If a post is helpful to you, please take a second to click "thanks", it makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside!0 -
Very bizarre, just checked now and is showing still 3 for £2 online. Therefore how can CS refuse to honour the orders!I'm sure this site makes me spend more than I save :think:0

I can't understand how my tesco said 3 for 2 nothing about 3 for £2 and even when she put them through they came up as full price for all of them but she said they would honour the 3 for 2 because the signs had not been taken down yet left it as it was nowhere near a bargain as 3 for £2, wanted charles worthington but it never worked for me:o0

I have to admit however that I once had a row just like that, same situation, in our local store... after a large arguement I left with my difference refunded and contacted CS, assuring myself they would be shocked and rectify it.
No, they didn't, they were downright rude to me. Which is another reason why I hate Tesco and go out of my way more than ever to take advantage of any mistake they make
Please note this is in no way a criticism of everyday staff who work for Tesco, this is merely my experience of a local manager and whoever answered the phone at CSIf a post is helpful to you, please take a second to click "thanks", it makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside!0
