That's great Mrs T, I love the DTD thing!
My online order is being delivered tomorrow between 3-5pm and I'm doing the same as you. They can come and collect the stuff if they refuse to refund the difference.0 -
yes i agree
its their mistake
crack on tescosave energy - stay in bed x0 -
Is there any way to know for sure which store they send stuff from? Our local store is a great big Extra store and I'm 95% sure that's where they send out the online orders from, that's why I wouldn't have a problem with that option, but don't get me wrong, I would argue it until I was blue in the face first
Will ask my housemate whether he knows as he uses them on a weekly basis
I asked the driver and he told me where it came from...he picks it up from there and delivers it to customers...a different driver this afternoona also said he came from the same store...he gave me the name of the manager to ask for about my refund as well0 -

Just got home from work and it's too late to cancel my order as it's due between 5 and 7!! From what I can work out from my online banking I think I have been charged a lot less than my guide price (which hadn't included the discount, mine never does!) so either the offer has worked on my order, even though it didn't on anyone else's, or they are just not bringing me any, probably due to having no stock left!!
We'll see, will update later0 -
I'm still trying to figure out whether there is any legal right to a refund of any kind after you have accepted delivery. My housemate tells me that when the items are delivered, the driver will hand over some sheets of paper which detail the entire order and pricing and shows a large bold total price, then asks you to give a digital signature to confirm that all is OK. He seems to think that once you have given that signature you no longer have any legal right to a refund. He thinks that Tesco have so many disclaimers in place that they *could* refuse point blank. That terrifies me! Lol! I'm now considering letting the order be delivered but refusing to sign anything until I have spoken to CS by telephone, even if it means making the driver stand there in the cold for a while (sorry in advance mr driver)
Got to pop out for a bit but will be back later to see how it is all goingIf a post is helpful to you, please take a second to click "thanks", it makes us feel all warm and fuzzy inside!0 -
How do you persuade CS to give DTD please? My local store won't hear of it0

Just been to tescos at serpentine green, they've removed all of the special offer signs so got a price check at the till and the shampoos came up at full price (not even 3 for 2) still showing offer online tho so might chance it.0
