Awesome that you managed to get the refund.. by three phone calls, did you call different numbers each time or just give up and call back again a bit later?

Personally I'm going to hold off cancelling until more info trickles in. I figure that at the moment almost everybody has been successful. My order is due to be delivered tomorrow morning between 10am and midday. I'll monitor this thread and might make a decision late tonight or even first thing in the morning. I'm reluctant to cancel unless someone reports that they've paid the full amount and been refused ANY kind of refund. I don't mind having to take them back to my local store for a refund if it absolutely comes to that, which it hasn't for anybody... yet

I have just phoned CS and the lovely chap there has said I will be charged the original price (£68+) and not the new price (£220+:eek:) - regular shopping included in that! He gave me his name and said to phone back if any problems when my shopping is delivered. Hmmmm. Maybe not a lost cause after all?!?

ETA: does anyone know if Tesco have just the one call centre?

so did you get the refund for just the 9 items? what did you do with the other stuff?

I had a delivery just now and when I saw the price £89.90 intead of £12 I showed the driver the £12 I had on the same print out order. I phoned the number on his sheet and got an immediate refund . Just had the email with refund amount.:j

they wouldnt let me take mine back to the local store...5 mins
away....said it had to be the main one it came from...a 40 mile round trip....they have picked the stuff up this afternoon but only after I insisted they did...and i still have no refund yet....

the money is taken out online...nothing to do with the driver......mine was out of my account this morning before i even took delivery
