Erm... no! They had to give you Double The Difference as per their policy and obviously allow you to keep the products!!!!!

I just phoned CS. My delivery time will be 9:00 pm. Some items were OOS but most there. I have been charged full price and will have to call back once items have been delivered. So if anyone is waiting on an order and want to know what will be coming and whether discount has been applied you can call CS and they will tell you. This is as long as it has been picked which happens in the morning. CS just asked for my name and delivery details.
  • Oh Poo missed out again - am rubbish!!! Thanks for this Kaos - will try to remember next time!

Lol, I aim to educate ;)
That's a nasty Tesco to not do it automatically... for all it's faults, our local Tesco almost always automatically do DTD (double the difference) when I get overcharged... or maybe they just recognise me and know there is no pulling the wool over my eyes, lol ;)

To qualify for DTD you MUST buy the products first (preferably at a manned till) and then wander over to the Customer Service desk and point out to them that you have paid more than the shelf label indicated. There should be a sign behind or near CS that says near the bottom about their DTD policy so if they try to deny it... point out the sign! :)

  • Cheers Kaos - will be more gutsy next time - and keep my eye on the sign!
Hope some of you manage to bag the bargains! Good luck.
