I had a delivery of between 3-5 today, I had to go to work at 4.45 left DD at the helm. A message was left at 5.05from Tesco CS saying the driver was going to be about 45mins late , but he had already turned up at 4.55.
Me thinks cause for refund delivery :rotfl:
I have just spoken to Louise at Tesco C.S. (I obviously played dumb) and she confirmed that the original price would be honoured and I would get a refund of my delivery too. I had 15 items and no mention of only 9 items being honoured. :j
Still waiting for the ominous e-mail to confirm the amount of refund.
She also mentioned it was an error on the website and that it is being removed ASAP, I told her my Mum had a delivery tomorrow morning including some of the items on the 3 for £2 and would this be honoured and she said to call back after delivery and they would sort it for her.Born and bred in Manchester (proud of it)

Well what a palava my order is turning out to be.
Surprise Surprise I got no phone call at 7pm so phoned again at 8pm to speak to another cs agent. She said there had been no called logged earlier and what the girl told me was pretty much rubbish. She said she could have checked there banking system but would have to be before 6pm to see what I had been charged and that the store home shopping dept would be away home by now. She offered to call me back tmrw evening when she started her shift but I politely declined and said I would call back tmrw 9am.
This is all due to the fact that I do not have a receipt to be able to tell what I was charged.
I mean if you are all getting refunded they must have somewhere on there system how much you were charged I mean surely they are not just taking your word for it are they?
I cant find it online anymore, not sure if anyone else can0 -
I am the same, order arrived, checked the "bill",full price. Told the driver who was lovely and said I'll wait while you ring them. Was on hold in a queue for ages! But CS was aware of the problem and will honour the price advertised... I too am now waiting for the email confirming the refund due!
Lots out of stock but I still did quite well! Driver was off into store to check and see if they could get any!! :rotfl:[STRIKE]
getting married to my best friend very soon!

Just had my delivery - poor delivery man spent half hour on phone to CS sorting it out - ended up 9 items for £6 (worth £70 ish) and refund the delivery charge. He took the rest back with him BUT he was told not to refund me immediately with his hand held machine - I have to wait for a refund email so cuurently £134 taken out of my bank. I sense a fight coming. HE wrote a note on his machine saying "9 items for £6" and I signed that. Wait and see re refund.0

Serves you all right for trying to order too many, did you honestly expect to recieve these items at 3 for 2 quid.
These orders are picked and scanned the morning of your delivery and as the glitch was fixed at midnight - suprise suprise you are charged full price, if you wanted to order 200 bottles then you should have gone to the store last night you would have got away with it then0 -

I dont recall anyone saying they had ordered 200 bottles. I ordered 15 items in total. I personally do not think that this is excessive.
Not everyone including myself was able to take advantage of this glitch last night.0 -
Spotted this on hotukdeals last night at 10pm and popped into two Tesco stores in Glasgow on my way home. I have 36 items worth almost £200 but I am asking myself if I really needed to spend £24 on Frizz-Ease. Only saving grace is that I actually use the stuff ... I'm getting so addicted to bargains.0

Well don't moan when tesco charge you the correct price just return the items and get all your money back

I just had a call from tesco saying about the 9 item thing and return others to store. Told them to do the nine and i'll call them in the moning. Too late to be arguing with tesco.0
