I do the same :) then i stress that i might be an unwanted stalker lol

Im feeling much, much better now. Had quite a lot of bleeding but no pain which was odd. Felt quite weak and tired for the two days as well.

but like i say, not sure if that was the result of a heavy weekend and the rather thorough investigation carried out by the Dr or the MAP

My DS is a MAP baby and is a perfectly healthy teenager:D

If a baby is supposed to be then so be it;) Life always throws little surprises at us!!

I'm glad your son is healthy, but what is the point in taking the MAP and risking the baby's health?

Because as far as I knew there was no baby!!

The MAP obviously didn't work and I would never of took it if I thought I was pregnant already.

I took the MAP becuase OH and i are not in a position to be able to have a baby as much as we would love one and as much as we would make it work.

The chances of me being pregnant were very slim, very slim indeed and as much as i would love a child the decision we both reached was to take the pill.

If the coil is lodged further up there is a higher risk of eptopic pregnancy and that is so dangerous for both until we know where it has gone it is the best option for us.

If i knew i were pregnant of course i would not have taken the MAP and there is only one thing that is definate for preventing pregnancy - abstinance!

    Surprises will always happen

How soon can you test for pregnancy?

Have just been to the Dr and have been told that the coil i was about to have replaced is missing.

Not sure if it has fallen out or if it has migrated, but long story short, all sex has been unprotected without our knowledge.:o

My period finished on Tuesday and since then we have been rather "active" so, how soon could i find out if i am pregnant or not?

Dr has presrcibed the MAP which i havent taken as yet (got to collect it from the chemist later as they didnt have any)

If i wasnt to take it, how soon would i know if i were pregnant? OH and i have spoken about children etc and both very much believe in fate etc etc.

Part of me is thinking if i dont take the tablet and see what happens (without having any more unprotected sex) then if a baby is what is meant to be it will be.

EEK:eek: I'd be having kittens in your position. I do have a different way of thinking to you though - so simply dont believe in leaving important things to "fate". I believe in planning my life - and dealing quicksharp with anything that threatens to disrupt those plans (of any description). So - a very different mindset to yours I can see...:)

I do hope that you've had that MAP by now and everything is back on course in your life.
