Update - sorry guys, mean to do this earlier and pesky work interviened.

Well, speaking with OH last night we decided to take the MAP.

Partly because we had already decided to have a 10 year coil fitted and to wait for a year or so. But also becuase we dont know where the coil has gone, if it has gone up and an eptopic pregnancy is a risk then we decided its best not to go through that if the pregnancy has not already been started.

Thank you for all of the advice that has been given, although a forum is not a place for medical advice and i spoke to Dr's and pharmacist and OH etc, it is good to be able to talk through all of with you guys :)

If we are pregnant then we are, it is meant to be, if we arent, then we can carry on with life as we have planned with us saving and enjoying some time together before a little one comes along.

I will keep this page in my CP and will come back to you all if there are any developments of any sort.

    Thanks again.

I had no idea. I could never check the strings because my cervix is just too high up and they were cut short. Thinking back it was most likely about 18months before I discovered I was pregnant because my cycle changed but at the time I just assumed that my body had finally settled down.

The first time I knew about was when I had 2 positive pregnancy tests in the morning and was up having a scan that afternoon.

dunno, I'm about the size of an elephant now!

I should have said it must have fallen out about 18months before I conceived :p

Just a quick update, i have a scan on the 19th to see where the blighter has gone.

MAP has been horrible to me and ive suffered but am also thinking that part of that may have been to the investigation that the Dr carried out.

Will update again when the scan is all done in case anyone is interested in how it turns out :)

    thanks
