Was around a friends today chatting and the babies came up again (mostly becuase she has a little one lol) and am thinking that maybe when im all clear after the op in a month or so's time i will be able to bring it up again to OH

Not really looking forward to the op tomos lol, but its for the best to get it all sorted out

Tonnes of luck for tomorrow. You sound so calm about it, but you are 100% right - it is best to get it sorted out.

Hi all,

Im home and i survived lol I cannot say enough for the nursing staff, they were so wonderful today it is unbelievable! They do such a hard job and never get enough credit!!

The coil is out the surgeons words were "eventually" so im guessing it was well an truly stuck - definately not having another again even though it did work so perfectly!

The area was too large to be cut out so they cut what they could and then burnt the rest, hopefully it will all clear up ok but i have been told all of the tales to watch for infection and have also been told that there is nothing they can do to stop the abnormality occuring again - but they can monitor it and keep an eye on it etc and thats all anyone can ask for really

I am very glad to be out and am staying with Grandma which is great - but am over 90 miles away from OH and that kinda sucks

Thanks for all of the support, i still have a sore throat from the tubes, a bruised hand from the needles and a fair amount of cramping - but im getting there

Supposed to be back to work on Thursday but cannot see that happening at the moment - think i will be off for the rest of the week.
