Seriously I have been here for about 18 months now and I have seriously decluttered, which cuts down on the dusting. I like ironing so I don't have an ongoing mountain (and there are only three of us - no KH/OH makes life so-o-o much easier but that's not always an option ;)) BUT I hate to dry/put away pots so often come downstairs in a morning to pots needing to be put away. And I am very bad at getting ready the night before - preparing my lunch/bag for work...I KNOW if I were to prep the night before mornings would be less stressful so that's my personal target - to do as much as possible before sloping off to bed then in the morning I can just 'wash and go' as it were...

Same here! I wash up at night and leave the pots to dry overnight and put them away in the morning when I get up

No OH or KH so no piles of shirts to continually iron and my ironing pile is always small since I got back to ironing at the end of last year - it only takes 20mins now each week :j

I usually freeze my work lunches and take them out of the freezer at night to defrost in the fridge and finish off at work, put my fruit on the side and anything else I need to take to pop quickly in my bag and I can now get ready in super quick time to rush out in the morning

Since I got on top of the flying all rooms take less time, apart from the kitchen meaning I can fly around quite quickly these days thankfully

Even though I'm not posting much these days (because the thread moves to quick and is too much to catch up with on a night and I'm trying to prise myself off the laptop a bit) I still like to see what is going on and I need to structure of the lists to keep me on top of things

I'm still a tad headachey, so although I've played catch-up with the thread, I haven't really absorbed it all, iyswim.

But Mr LW has really stepped up to the plate and helped me do a mega-blitz on the spare room.:A

We're going to have a spot of lunch (Mr LW is cooking egg'n'chips) then a trip to the tip to dispose of a carful of carp, some of it from the loft.

    I think we've now earned Friday's star:
    Friday ~ Everything else!
    Level One
Declutter floors in childrens rooms, hall, stairs and landing Decluttered as far as end room being a store will allow. (Actually, we've shifted a fair bit).
Vacuum these floors Done (Mr LW)
    Level Two
Strip some neglected sticky bedding N/A
Sort through a box of toys/junk No toys; sorted out and tidied box of candle-making gear.
Organise a chest of drawers/wardrobe All organised
    Level Three
Tidy up coats, bags and shoes.. throw away broken umbrellas! All tidy; no dead brollies here!
Wash some grubby curtains Done; spare room AND master bedroom.
Wipe paintwork in a room you've not done this in for some time Mr LW did the curtain rails and area above in both rooms (see above) which I can't normally manage. Also cleaned around bookcases in end room (see Extras)
    Extras
    1. Clean fronts and backs of 2 radiators Done
    2. Binbag dance Done; also put-it-in-the-loft dance.
    3. Straighten a bookcase.. the books not the actual furniture! :p Done; loads of paperwork that needs keeping but not "current" iyswim lofted.
    4. HHI None to do; HHWii instead
FRIDAY COMPLETE: and Mr LW deserves a star all of his own!:D:A
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

I got virtually nothing done as I had another asthma attack yesterday. My GP has organised an Xray for Monday but we don't exect it to show anything.

I should have kept on top of my flying as keeping the dust down and the mould at bay is a huge help for my asthma.

Great the chemist was closed when I went up there for my new eczema cream when they told me it would be open. All weekend with bright pink sore and burning eyes again then.

Right better drag myself off to the bathroom and spare room to finish off in these places

My favourite time to go is at around 6pm on a weekday evening. It's always nice and empty then. I'll have to go myself soon - DS1 needs black blankets/throws to finish off his room, I've broken a few dinner plates and last weekend I broke one of my two favourite wine glasses (DH has started to drink wine, too, so I'd like another). I got them for 50p each, so hoping for another bargain. Looking at the budget for this month, though, it will have to be after the 26th (pay day).

Trouble is DS2 wants to come too
The traffic in rush hour (M25 or North Circ) would be horrendous
I'd need somebody to look after DS3, feed him and put him to bed

    So that is a nono

Weekday mornings are fine but then DS2 can't come. Anyhow decided to leave it until next weekend at the earliest - just had a brain wave DS2 breaks up for easter the day before DS3 - I shall go then!
