boddy will the guy be coming back to the house at all? Could you leave a note to say that if it is not claimed within a certain time-frame, you will put it outside the front door, and if someone else decides to rehome it, you cannot be held responsible?
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

    :hello:Bonjour ladies! I'm back!

We've had a brilliant week, and I am totally shattered. Lovely weather all week, bright sun although cold and very frosty in the morning.

Everyone survived at home, and DS1 did extremely well at the cooking. They all blitzed the house before I arrived home (bribed apparently by a take away*rolleyes*). Next time I go away I must remember an intensive course of 'how to use the washing machine' sessions pre-departure.

I've been trying to catch up on 900 emails, and doodled on here a bit, although I'm still back on p15.

Love, hugs, get well vibes, chocolate, congratulations and happy birthday as appropriate!

  • Can't get flight clearance as I've done my back in, but have organised an improvement to garden fence to keep the planned woofer in.

    Hugs to all in need.

    Monring ladies! :hello:

Been up for a while but just been noodling about on the internet. OH is out at work, feels so weird to have the flat to myself on a Saturday! I did nothing last night, it has been such a crazy week with work and all, I needed the time to de-stress. But today AF is in full swing and therefore I have a splitting headache  I will fly today though! Tea and brekkie, headache pills and then off I go! Determined to get one star for my first week (I can see this becoming an obsession!)

Hugs, posi-vibes and all to everyone who needs them xx

    Morning all

rain here so looks like the TD will be in use later - got lots dried outside yesterday though so only two loads - not least because DS's floor is covered with clothing AGAIN - well one day he will learn...probably the day he has to dress himself from the floordrobe;)

THE WAY TO A TRULY CLEAN HOME IS TO IRON DAILY (LIKE I DO) AND HAVE MATCHING PEGS TOO THEN ALL WILL BE ORDER AND BEAUTY

Seriously I have been here for about 18 months now and I have seriously decluttered, which cuts down on the dusting. I like ironing so I don't have an ongoing mountain (and there are only three of us - no KH/OH makes life so-o-o much easier but that's not always an option ;)) BUT I hate to dry/put away pots so often come downstairs in a morning to pots needing to be put away. And I am very bad at getting ready the night before - preparing my lunch/bag for work...I KNOW if I were to prep the night before mornings would be less stressful so that's my personal target - to do as much as possible before sloping off to bed then in the morning I can just 'wash and go' as it were...

So - much like many others - it's still 'work in progress' in Valliland!

Now I am going to go and buy news sofas:D:D:D:D:D:D:D (On interest free credit:money::T:T:T:A)
