Thank you so much for this LameWolf, this sums up how I feel exactly. I have sent the link to DH Email for him to read. It is so hard to explain to people that I cant do it all - I dont look ill, and as far as people are aware I have recovered from my illness and yet I am unable to continue my life as it was before. This has led to my depression and tbh I cant see an end to it. So THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for a way to explain it! (although obviously without the lupus bits.)

Hi Flyers,
Busy week. DD2 had a lovely birthday thanks for all her birthday wishes, it's really appreciated as most of my family can't be bothered.
Step son and daughter came over today and did 3 birthdays in one. Mine (early Feb) DD2 and DH who celebrates tomorrow. V. disappointed as they got me chocolates when I specifically asked for anything other than chocolate. DH got trainers (I asked them to get her some sandals) and DH got whisky, dvd's, cufflinks and a voucher for speedway driving. No of course I'm not !!!!ed off:p. I cooked a roast dinner for 11 people making me miss DS2's top of the table football league match while I was preparing mountains of veg. I've now done 2 hrs ironing while they drank all the wine I had bought for our special meal I am cooking tomorrow to celebrate DH's birthday. DH has driven them home and I'm having a rant on here. V. sorry peeps but I feel alot better now I've typed it all on screen:D
I know how you feel - today is my birthday - yesterday mum came to visit. She gave me a leather purse - but DD1 bought me a Radley purse for Christmas - which I showed to mum less than 3 weeks ago!!!:)
Mum had promised to bring a joint of ham for tea - she duly forgot it:mad:...so I had to go and buy one.
She brought a chocolate cake - lovely...but I've given up cakes for Lent......
OH asked what i wanted for my birthday.....but hasn't bought me anything! He doesn't 'do' birthdays and thinks I should be the same! So were it not for the lovely pack of showergels from DD2 I would be completely brassed off this morning!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0
