Well I managed to sort 3 boxes from the boys room.. filled a wash basket, filled a binbag and found 3 large stacking boxes of duplo and baby stuff which has been removed from their room.. then I got waylaid.. and painted the kitchen.. OH did the ceiling and I did the walls.. it need another coat or 2 on the walls but it looks so much cleaner and brighter already... then I got carried away entirely and mopped the floor..

I have the 3 loads of laundry on the line to air off in the dryer, fold and put away.. OH is cleaning the third coating of ovenmate off the oven and I am lining the bottom with a teflon sheet.. it is so manky in there this can only help!

I can then do food, find uniforms for tomorrow and wait for the grubs to come home.. pj's at the ready!!!

I don't have time for a power nap... I can usually do half an hour nap and whizz for hours but I think today had I allowed mysef to sell I'd not have slept tonight or I would have woken up in the morning!!!

    Oven.. laundry.. food...

Fedup - sensible decision re the job -as a rule do not start a job knowing it is about to TUPE, right to claim is under unfair dismissal rules. Less than a years service = no right to claim. If new company was looking to save money I am afraid you would be the first on the list regardless of how good you are at your job.

Boring ironing - having a rest but trying to get at least a few days stuff done.

    Hi all

Wed, Thur, Fri are complete. I was on fire! Even cooked for the lot all weekend, and took the monsters to the skating rink. That was fun! Thank you to the trio for the lists and support.

Hex2 your garden looks lush! Love the crocuses. I envy your snowdrops. It was my dream to set a woodland garden, but never happend. Well, maybe next year.

Fedupandskint, hope you feel better soon.

Mum on a mission: love your attitude about the pigeon!

Pigpen, are your power nap just 30 min? If I fall in front of tv, it usually lasts 2-3 hours... can that be called a power nap? Cos after that, I can whizz till midnight.

Oh, I think the sofa is calling me now.... have lovely time, ladies.

Hex it looks brilliant and it will all spread this year too - :T:T
tooch honey you are not letting the side down - we all do the lists for ourselves remember - not for pigpen or me or the stars - we do our housework to feel better about where we are - if you didnt feel up to it then thats ok - we are all entitled to feel 'off' and not bother to do things - it passes- I am sure you will feel brighter tomorrow - but if not I might just kick you:p:rotfl:
fedup ooooooops sorry honey i will sort it in a mo - I was dropping off while doing the stars and kept losing my place - its an age thing:rotfl: It does sound like the break up was the trigger and maybe because you are a bit anxious about going away has made it worse just now - I think you are being absolutely brilliant and going aaway on your own - very brave and I hope you have an excellent relaxing time. (((hugs))) hopefully the rest, relaxation and fresh air will help your skin too. Its good that you have made the decision about the job - you need to feel comfortable/secure - something right will come along when the timimg is right.
grateful - for goodness sake rest your back until its better!!! remember your condition:rotfl: I am doing ok thanks for asking pet - just tired and weary!
MOAM :rotfl: hope it didnt make too much sooty mess!
JInky awh huge (((hugs))) angel -I am sorry she has said/done that - but why not speak to you about it - thats very hurtful.
pigpen :T:T:T thats an amazing amount of work - well done to you - you are transforming your house with every week that passes!

ok I am off to sort out food

Hex - your garden is looking lovely, I've just had an hour out the back cutting the herbacious stuff back so that I can see the purple crocus. One of my hellebores has black spot on the flowers (didn't get the leaves off in time) and I need to sort out the thug euphorbia which has wrecked one border. I need the space to put the orange echinacea in.

    Fedup
    - that is very brave to go away with just your dog, you have come so far and should be very proud of yourself.

Time for birthday cake and then a bit of ironing.
