    Afternoon All.

The sun is shining on Yorkshire today :). Went for a walk to the park earlier within my sis and the kids. I needed the fresh air as I decluttered a bottle of wine at the Avon party last night :o.
We had a drive past the school the twins will be going to in September. I can't believe how quick my babies are growing up :(.

We have just had a lovely Roast chicken dinner, so once that has settled I may goinf and do a spot of sorting out in the garden and HHI. The man across the road is vacuuming his cr out. I wonder if I could persuade him to give mine a once over :D.
Twins, twice the laughs, twice the fun, twice the mess!:j:j
  • 15 miles in 9 hours...........we started at 7.30 and the sun was out, it was gorgeous. Then by the time we finished we had snow, rain, hail, mist just about everything bar thunder and lightening!

I can hardly walk today (actually crawled up the stairs last night) but did force the hoover round and sort the dishes. Oh and cleaned the bathroom cos there was mud everywhere.

The views were amazing (Black Mountains in Brecon Beacons) and I would def do that one again!

Now if I can just get downstairs there is chocolate with my name on it!

  • Glad you are coping with the shoulder, kazwookie

I decided it is such a peerlessly beautiful day that I had to paint the windowsills at the front of the house, now I'm back on the sofa with the heat pack, I may come to regret it, esp. since it seems it will need three coats to get rid of the 1970s chocolate brown paint, thought they had a less appropriate name for it in those days.
Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x

Well done 1step :T, you must feel really proud of yourself. I completed a midnight half marathon last June (walking) for the local hospice and although it was hard (especially the last 4 miles) I was really pleased with the achievement, so much so, signed up to do it again this year!

Haven't done enough flying to gain any stars, but my mum came round yesterday and we did about 3 hours in the girls room, filled the recycling wheelie bin  and still got a bit more to do  but at least it's a whole lot better than before (til the next time )

    afternoon all

well done 1 step - I haven't done a proper walk in ages, we still have 18 miles of thames path to finish at some point.

I've done church, a couple of bits from Mr S, been to in laws for lunch and done some flying - DH has dysoned through, I've S&S'd the kitchen and put some clean washing away, and DH is doing some more filing whilst I watch casualty on iplayer. Once I've finished DH can have some time on the ps3 and I'll do some clothes sorting out.

Don't think we've achieved any stars this week but I don't mind, the place looks ok.

    Afternoon all

Been out for lunch and kids now playing football out the front.

DH making the shelves for the airing cupboard so the sheets can go back in there.

I need to put my thermals on and go and put some of the pots back in the garden.

Lots of work done in the garden so the house is a tip. Just to show it is worth suffering both of the folowing were planted last year:

    The first project crocus

and the snowdrops I planted last year. They were a couple of small clumps under a firethorn bush that I divided and planted indivdually. Give them a few years and they will fill this area. The chickens keep digging them up though.
