Morning lovelies, sorry I haven't been on much this week - think I've posted once (!) - but because of that I can:

    CLAIM ALL FIVE STARS!!!!! :D:j:j:j

Sorry I don't know much that has gone on, so here goes:
Jinky my lovely, glad I was a little bit of help, you know where I am if you feel like venting. Why has your mum divorced you?!
Rose - well done you this week, what a change your posts are, keep it up lovely
BenW and I think Ishtar (sorry if I've got the name wrong) huggs and healing vibes for your mums
LL -glad you've had a nice time away in Brighton and hope your enjoying having DS home
Valli - glad it went well at school, well done you!
Soappie - hope your hot water is ok, glad work front sounds enjoyable and interesting. Hugs for DD re teeth, shudder to think of the pain
JillD - welcome back my lovely, sorry your DS sounds worse, Pigpen as usual has sound advice

Sorry I've missed all the birthdays so hope you all had a fab day. Hugs to all the poorlies, there sounds to be a few.
Still not right after my fall the other week, think I need to go to the doctors as my wrist bone is a funny shape and standing far too proudly and hurts like !!!!. Which is affecting my elbow more, so that means my whole arm and shoulder and it is now affecting my back. Ooops, so sorry that turned into a bit of a moan!
Also been through my clothes, shoes and handbags and now have TWO large bags for the charity shops! DD1 and DD2 have inspected my wardrobes and are impressed that I've got rid of some of my dodgy clothing! LOL DS is home now until the 21st, hopefully back on the 25th as it's his birthday, then he's going to Afghanistan for 6 months on the 5th of April :(. But I'm managing to keep a cheerful face on to everyone though I'm not inside

Anyway onwards and upwards. The sun is shining and may even do some ironing soon, though like Valli, I don't let it hang around too long

I'm so tired this morning, Rhys thought that 1am was a great time to get up at for a feed. I've woke with a sore throat, i hope i don't end up with cold.

Now to find list and update.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

    Morning all

DS2 and I enjoyed our trip to costco yesterday - no impulse buys and a Kenwood mini chopper for £12. I'll need to find something to try it out on later. Maybe shred a carrot to go with lunch, or something similar. I also managed to shrink my list a bit more. I may almost manage to fit it on to one side of A4 by the end of this morning. The last load of washing is drying on the airer, so I just need to finish it off in the TD later, and iron anything urgent for tomorrow (DH irons on tuesdays).

I splashed out on a nice gammon joint for later, which will be good for a few meals, I hope. Just wondering: I always simmer it for an hour or so before it goes in the oven. If I put some veggies in the water with it, would that be good enough as stock for pea and ham soup? Not sure when I would cook it, though, as we usually have leftovers on mondays. I wonder if pea and ham soup would work in the SC. Any suggestions welcome.

    Morning all

I'm up and about and a bit annoyed as I was all set to watch casualty from last night but it has only recorded 3 minutes of it -allegedly there was a power cut but I know there wasn't as DH and I were watching a film at the same time that it started!

Today for me includes church, lunch at the in laws, some more sorting and throwing out, wm x 1 as my jeans need doing (only thing I wear, I should really buy a second pair!). also need to dyson through at some point.

Oh and I've just bought a weekly travelcard online with no problems - yay for new credit card.
