Fridays list now Done ; Please can I have another star please Toots !!!!

Im still trying to finish wednesdays list and hoping this will be my first week I will manage to get 5 stars :D

    So left to do :
    Wednesday ~ Master bedroom
    Level One
    Declutter the floors and vacuum!
    Level Two
Clear the floordrobe/shoes/bags etc that are strewn around
Make sure any chairs in the room are visible!
    Level Three
    Binbag Dance

    Dd has gone out with grandad for the day now so im going to have a brew and crack on in peace also im going to have yet another clear out of dd's clothes that dont fit her or that she doesnt wear { then maybe just maybe I will be able to close the wardrobe doors properly for the first time ever in her room :p}

    Ive bought some vacuum bags a while ago with the intention of putting her summer clothes in to save room , but now im thinking with the sun startin gto pop its head out recently weather I should or not now { rubs chin and rolls eyes in wonder }
Does anyone else do this then again with winter clothes ? Are the clothes harder to iron once they have been in the vacuum bags ??

Im really pleased as I have been to a table top fair and just got back . I bought her a play house for the garden which she loves for only £3 quid , its one of the plastic ones with windows in like this one but without the kitchen I was hopefully going to bid and win on this week

What a bargain ive got hey ??? :j:j

It does need a bit of a clean and im yet to put it back together again , as I had to dismantle it to get in the car so the sun is shining and im going to ge tthat done before the bedroom :)

  • Good afternoon everyone  Not been on since yesterday morning, due to connectivity probs :( (blimmin Talktalk - I was with Tiscali and they were fine, but TT are dire  )
    And me, they are pants.
Hun, that place is hell, the head is an evil unprofessional witch. I'd get sick the last day of Easter Holidays and get signed off for the last 2 weeks of your contract. Take everything with you on your last day of term - actually start bringing stuff which is yours and you don't need home as of Monday x
I mostly agree with this, but think about how your sickness record looks when you go to get another job. What are the union doing for you?

hex thanks for the get well and kazwookie get well to your shoulder.

Won't be putting any more books out today as planned - going to collect my remaining books in and concentrate on some de-cluttering before feeding the brood again! Then might bake some bread or cakes or possibly both before settling down to enjoy evening with the family :)

    Hi everyone,
Sorry I've fallen off the radar for the last fortnight - had a bit of a nightmare time at work - working late every night, over at a meeting in Oxford last weekend... it goes on!! So, I've made a decent start on clearing the absolutel carnage in the house this afternoon - it's starting to feel vaguely liveable again, so thought I'd check where I was up to on this week's lists and see if I could catch up on some stars. Whaddaya reckon? Can I make the full five? Time will tell....

Monday ~ Kitchen & Dining area DONE!
    Level One
    Level Two
    Level Three

Tuesday ~ Living room, reception rooms and hallway - DONE!
    Level One
    Level Two
    Level Three

    Wednesday ~ Master bedroom DONE!
    Level One
    Level Two
    Level Three

Thursday ~ Bathroom, WC and Study DONE
    Level One
    Level Two
    Level Three

    Friday ~ Everything else! DONE!
    Level One
    Level Two
    Level Three

    Extras
    1. Half hour exercise
Do some crochet/read a book/do something nice so I don't feel like I've spent my whole weekend cleaning!!
Edit - 5.30pm - Woo hoo! 5 STARS for me! The house isn't perfect, but definitely fit to relax in. Hopefully do a bit more tomorrow and make a start on the garden. Does anyone know if there's a flylady equivalent for the garden? That'd be handy! Now for exercise and fun stuff!

we've been out for some lunch (DH is not too bad, just feeling a bit rough), and then have been to staples to buy a filing cabinet so DH can have all the files in one place. So some decluttering and moving around has been done - I managed to get rid of one big bag of stuff that's not needed from the plastic drawer sets and lots of recycling. Now have 3 large spare drawers so will probably put some of the stuff (cables etc) that's in the spare wardrobe in them.

Acheived a bit more this morning too - jumped on the bus into town and picked up a parcel, paid in some bags of coppers and changed the pin on my new credit card. wm is on now, bathroom has been cleaned and I am having a rest!
