No flying this week, no reading the thread, no posting - makes Radish a glum girl

Have ruined my gleaming kitchen from last week by dumping all the "stuff" (and I use that word loosely) from the hall, dining table can not be seen never minded wiped down :rotfl:

Plus point hall is now de-cluttered off wallpaper and carpet (looks so much lighter) and it has all been taken to the tip, Just need to take the radiator off the wall and strip the wallpaper behind it, then wash all the paintwork down (I seem to be thinking about this job rather than doing it)

Hopefully once it is all decorated, and I have got off my bum and sorted out a carpet, I will be cleaning like a mad woman for the Estate agents pictures.

I have also de-cluttered a bin bag of rubbish and filled a charity bag which has been collected so some small steps made this week

Pooh thanks for your best wishes, I have given in and taken 2 pain killers, watched a man for all seasons, & anna and the king and watching grand designs on telly.

Dusty I was going to do my car today as well, but my shoulder has put pay to that today.

I am really p****ed off with it, if I was doing something daft at the time then fine, but just flying.................grrrr

It is lovely out side side as well.

kazw - that sounds painful, not to mention frustrating!

grateful - be careful with your back too

I just wanted to share with you ladies that I'm really pleased with myself...I checked my cc bill online just now, statement date is 19th and it's £250, which is at least half of what it usually is! We have been really trying to cut down as although we save a fair bit already each month, the more we save the sooner we can buy our own place. I haven't got a monthly travelcard on it yet (£100, would usually go on this Monday but I am going to just get a weekly as I'm off work the week after) but it's still a big improvement! I've been moneysaving a long time but it's good to know there's always more you can do!

We've just got a new cc each as the other one (M&S) kept being stopped every time we tried to buy travelcards or oyster credit online. Got sick of their stupid antifraud things (would stop you using online but can still go to the shop and would be each time we try to buy from oyster which is at least monthly). So we both now have a nice new cc which has 0% for 6 months and better rewards. :D

Kaz - hope it's easing off...

I've just had an automated call checking 'possibly fraudulent' CC transactions...

Boddy, re the TV - can you get a message to him saying that if it's not picked up by, say 20th March (that gives him two weeks) it'll be disposed of?

Right, shopping done, some flying done. Let's look at the lists:

Declutter and vacuum/mop floors in these rooms!
scrub the fixtures and fitting in the bathroom/wc.
    Level Two
Polish screens (microfibre cloth and a dab of white vinegar brings them up a treat) and mirrors and glass shelves.
Shine taps and shower rails and radiators

    Level Three
Remove all dirty laundry/smelly soft furnishings to the wash basket
Replace bathmats/shower curtains/sponges and toothbrushes that are manky

    Friday ~ Everything else!
    Level One
    Level Two
Sort through a box of toys/junk
    Organise a chest of drawers/wardrobe
    Level Three
    Wash some grubby curtains
Wipe paintwork in a room you've not done this in for some time

Went to see mum and she was in a lovely mood. I rang my brother so she could speak to him. Then to DDs for a cuppa before walking home. So thats my exercise. Re the tv he has been given the message if it is still here when the skip comes it goes in. He wont be back to the house as both he and his mum have been to get what they want. Still lots of stuff in there though.

kazw Hope your shoulder is better soon. get better vibes.

Wednesday ~ Master bedroom ALL DONE :D

I gave the shower cubicle a really good going over. Every last speck of grot, mould and grime has been scrubbed away form every nook and crannie. It is one of those all singing all dancing tardis jobbies so you really have to get in it to clean, so I have found the best way to clean it is in the nude (much to the disgust of DS1 who came in for a pee whilst I was cleaning it:rotfl::rotfl:).

I also took all the fronts of the bathjets and scrubbed inside them. They were yukky.

Oops I have just remembered I used my hubby's toothbrush to clean the bathroom as I decided he needed a new one anyway. BUT I forgot to buy him one at the supermarket today :o.

I am going to a neighbour's Avon party tonight, so OH is on babysitting duty. It will do him good to have a night in after last week's exploits:D

I hope yours doesn't lurk like mine!

SS1 has cleaned his car and DH's, inside and out. He offered to do mine too but clean Landrovers are just wrong .
