fedupandskint I see you are coming up to my neck of the woods next week. Its a beautiful county. If you fancy meeting up for a coffee that would be great. Have you been up here before?

It's the first time I have been up, I'll be on the coast at the Sea! Thought it was a good place as fairly central and can go up and down and westerly. I'll PM you later on bodders

Fedup - sensible decision re the job -as a rule do not start a job knowing it is about to TUPE, right to claim is under unfair dismissal rules. Less than a years service = no right to claim. If new company was looking to save money I am afraid you would be the first on the list regardless of how good you are at your job

Glad you thought the same hex - it only came to mind the other day when it clicked into place. I will withdraw from the interview tomorrow and luckily I only told my manager who is in the same boat as me and a few others so don't have much to explain

Thanks for all your kind words and Tootle don't worry about the stars - I never get the face on regarding this! Just a gentle reminder that's all it was.

Well my skin is flaring up bigstyle tonight and I am blowing my nose endlessly and feeling very cold indeed. Spotty, pink, red, skin burning, looking good! Still could be much much worse so not that bad at all really. Think I'd better go to beebs in a bit to get warm and hope my eyes stop stinging.

See you all on the new thread

Lav - that is lovely news - enjoy your holiday

I'm happy so many of you have been outside and enjoyed the sun.

Piggers hope the kids come home at a decent time today and that you are not too tired.

Off to sort out bedtimes and ironing so I'll see you all on the next thread.

DS says thank you to all of you for his birthday wishes.

aww Boddy - hugs for you and condolences for you and her family...
as JJ says pleased you got to see her...

DD has just asked me for help with homework (gradients and intercept according to sheet - I think intersect BUT I know nothing) - she's asked her brother - good call - he's the mathematician of the family though I can do a VERY good impression of being a mathematician (ROTFL) - as in identifying formulae from patterns when it matters - ie on a maths course! (I ALWAYS get very positive comments on my subject knowledge when being observed on any subject - good job they never observe PE)

Packs case for spain in order to do lav's ironing ;)

    happy birthday master DUSTY!
