If I knew I would win more myself, it is pretty much down to luck I am afraid!
No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T

I tend to find i win on the comps with loads of prizes ie. win 1 of 500. Also the more you enter the more chance of winning. But i think alot of it is down to luck.
So good luck hope you win loads of goodies :) hapy comping
it might not be much, but its better than a kick in the teeth:rotfl:

Complete luck combined with hard work ie enter loads. Some members on here, myself included ,enter 20,000+ comps per year.Saying that you could enter ten & win five; that's the luck element for you.
I'll pm to get this moved to discussion.
  • Out of interetest, how many do you win say per month?

It really does vary.Last year was a good year with an average of two per month. It's slowed this year.I've had about ten wins this year. The nicest for me was a full football strip for a local school. One big win can make up for all the work though as in a few weeks I'm off to Vancouver for seven nights.with loads of excursions. In 2008 I went to NY on a freebie plus I enjoy posting the odd comp on here for others to try & win.

I won the weekend away last year in June and not won anything since !
I enter about 40 per day too every day !
I guess i am not very lucky .

My tips are....dedicate your life to comping. Buh bye social life as you WILL start to worry abot missing comps. lol!!

Seriously though its just luck. Enter as many as you can - my thoughts are..if your names in the hat..you could be the winner!! So...get entering. :D

(Remember if your new to comping...sometimes a competition can end and the prize not arrive for 6+ months) So you may have a win on its way somewhere.

All you can do is maximise your chances by entering as many as possible, it sounds simple but really does help, warning!!! this will take up loads and loads of time and you will be seriously addicted;)

Also there are times when you will get fed up, especially if you haven't had a win for a while, carry on, its worth it, read the comping guide on here, lots of good tips and also download Roboform, I couldn't do as many as I do without it, I use the free version:)
Thank you for this site Martin
The time for change has come
    Good luck for the future

    5) In the drop down box select "subject" and insert word e.g. "congratulations"
    Hope that helps someone

thanks. I will try that. Can it only search for key words in the subject line, rather than in the body of the email?

You're very modest weeowen67, you post loads, so don't be shy - stand up and take a bow- your efforts are much appreciated.
