I know there is a thread for people to add friends to facebook but was unsure if there was one for twitter. If there is one then can someone point me in the right direction.

Twitter is a really fast and simple way to enter comps, there are lots of comps on there, but you have to see tweets from people you follow to know about them. They sometimes last hours and frequently only last a day so posting on here often doesn't work and we miss good ones.
It's likely that a few among us are still new to twitter and a little help wuldn't go amiss from experienced folk on there.

If you're on there and agree just DM me (on twitter) with your MSE name and I'll add it to this post. You can post your twitter name here too instead if you like. Please don't PM here though because it will probably overfill the box and I won't get it.

I'll edit this to suit and tidy it...and who knows one day it may make a sticky that we can all use to chack who we're being followed/stalked by on twitter ...and myabe even win more stuff

Two pages here that are daily papers online with twitter comps, they change daily, one is based on the tag #win and the other on #competition and if you feel like you know a good tag word...you can make one of your own (not about comps if you are keen on something else too).. They can be bookmarked as they will be staying there.

Somebody else posted that they had won top trumps to collect from Morley. That thead is here:-

If you scroll down and click the link that weeowen has posted, you will see that the Morley observer has a sister newspaper, the Wakefield Express, so I guess that it was from the Wakefield Express that you won, but I cannot see the comp listed on here yet.

Johnston Press can be a little strange as I've had all my wins posted out but someone else mentioned having to collect a prize.Sorry but I cannot help on collection.

I did find that one weeowen but it's Batley & says winners will be notified via email or telephone but in this case it was a letter, that doesn't mention collecting it so I'm hoping I can persuade them to post out.

I used to post one (text comp) that was with a paper that covered the NE & Yorkshire pms, the prize was always top trumps games/cards but they no longer have the comp running and I never did hear of any winners. Although it was a local paper, the t&c's said that it was part of a press group and the same comp would feature in other places. The last time I posted I think was before xmas so not sure if it would be this one.

ETA....you could also try contacting to see if they could send out the prize, maybe tell them you've since moved away from that area? My sis once won a prize when she lived in Leeds with my local paper & they were happy to send out prize to her.

I won a prize last week for a hotel stay for 4, tickets to a couple of events and a £200 voucher for a meal at a restaurant, however, when we got to the hotel, the meal voucher was for £80
