Twitter is a really fast and simple way to enter comps, there are lots of comps on there, but you have to see tweets from people you follow to know about them. They sometimes last hours and frequently only last a day so posting on here often doesn't work and we miss good ones.

I'll edit this to suit and tidy it...and who knows one day it may make a sticky that we can all use to chack who we're being followed/stalked by on twitter ...and myabe even win more stuff

Two pages here that are daily papers online with twitter comps, they change daily, one is based on the tag #win and the other on #competition and if you feel like you know a good tag word...you can make one of your own (not about comps if you are keen on something else too).. They can be bookmarked as they will be staying there.

Recently the music-news comps have all just been going to the same newsletter sign up page. Is there anyway they could tell which comp you are entering if it's the same form? I haven't posted them as i've assumed that they've just not put up the correct entry method (email usually) but now i'm thinking maybe there's a way they can tell?

Each to their own re the email address.Personally I use an email address that is not personal in any way.My name does not appear in it & no mention is made of competitions.
Re the surveys I've no idea as I'm too busy to bother with them.

Is it ok if I randomly add people from that twitter list? I've never used twitter before so I just made an account and am lonely lol.

Can someone tell me what I should be doing on twitter? When people say retweet I see the button but do I have to follow the person who is doing the competition as well :S

I advise you not to use 'comps' in your email address - some sites do not like compers!

Choose an email address as short as possible (useful if you have to type it hundreds of times)

Some people believe choosing one that gives no clue to your age, sex or location can be useful in some situations.

I would create a new email address pronto keep it short, ordinary and not personal like mentioned above. And with regards to survey sites, I used to use a few main ones but it was taking forever to accrue any money. I must have done hundreds of surveys (long-winded ones too!) and they only every reached about £3 or £5 (you have to wait until you get approx. £30 before you can withdraw the money). I know it took a lot of people a year just to make £30 with them! I would recommend using Tickbox.net, I won £400 worth of vouchers with them after doing 100ish quick surveys, which is rather good and they're enjoyable to do on the whole! Good Luck!

Shouldn't be a problem.Get the defunct mails inbox sent to your new email address.
In Gmail this is done via Settings/Forwarding.Just input where you want the mail to go & it will do the rest.I do this with three of may email addresses & it works fine.
