Query about holiday comps - don't know whether anyone has got experience after wqinning one
Many holiday comps specify are for 2 adults plus 2 kids (often limited to 12/15 age). My lads are older. Is there normally options to "upgrade/payabit" for different ages, or for only one child, or extra child or is it normally just what it says on the tin, take it or leave it.
ie is it only worth entering comps where you exactly fit the description

I've won two holidays in the last few years.One to NY & one to Vancouver.On the NY trip I traded part of the prize($1000 in SAKS) to take our daughter.On the Vancouver trip I paid for our daughters air fare & that was all that was needed.Both comps were for two adults.
All I'd say is polite negotiation worked for me.

Going to Amsterdam in a couple of weeks, trip was overnight stay only, so asked if I could add another night, and I would pay for hotel. No problem. Seemed daft only going for 1 night.

On my Family holiday to Italy i won and went on last year as it was for 4, and there was 3 of us, i took my neices too, I only had to pay £110, and that was just for the flight for my youngest niece as they had already booked us 2 rooms.

Most of the holiday wins are handled by prize fulfilment places like NDL,they must hear it on a daily basis that people would like to add to the holiday xxx

thanks toniq - I think the buyer is just being dumb and stubborn. eBay is best option as the mobile trade-in website are offering me about 1/2 what I can get on eBay!!

I think I've found a comp that isn't listed, I've searched and I can't find it - however I'm a noob:o and I fear that I might be searching wrongly or something! I also can't find the end date :o but It's for Sonisphere tickets and I know they are highly sort after so I wondered if someone could have a look at this link for me? and check to see if it's been posted......

Doh, what a div, thanks for that. I should have saved the MSE page and not the Robinsons page and I would have known that, thanks for explaining.

Your searches seem to have been good as I couldn't find it on the board either. I've posted it for you since you asked. Next time you find one don't be afraid to post it. People will generally be nice to you even if you do it wrong. There's lots of help to post comps in the comping guide too, if you haven't already had a read of that.:)
