If I was that short on time I'd work in likeability view.I'd discount the ITV & GMTV as the captcha thing just slows me down.I'd go high value & quick to fill with roboform.I'd even be tempted to leave the email ones as they take longer.
    Just my opinion though.

Hi guys - I've been comping for almost a year now and I've won some amazing prizes in that time. Just beginning to wonder though - do you think it makes a difference what type of email address you use for comps? I use hotmail, but I know many don't accept entries from hotmail addresses as they can be from spammers. I was wondering whether to switch to gmail? Also, my hotmail address sounds kind of childish (I have had it since I was about 14...), people might think I'm not old enough to enter comps, lol... Do you think they take this into account too?
I don't see it as a problem either way.I use hotmail for comping & have won loads. My comping email is made up of a nearby street first followed by two numbers. When I won a trip to Vancouver they did ask if I was over 18 as the email gave the impression I was in my late teens. This comp was checked by an outside body so I cannot see that the email address was a problem at all.Just keep entering and hoping.
  • Hi,
I signed up with the Publishers Clearing House prize draw after reading varying reports online about some being a scam, but one being legit. Checked the domain name against the registration database and went with the one that seemed legit, entered by the form on the site and received an email just now with Official Document UK01 Enclosed in the title.
I haven't clicked it yet coz it's on my phone.
    Is this a scam?
Chances are yes, but there must be some places like this that do give away cash such as the Unclaimed Prizes Register, right?
Sorry, I don't know where to put this question, this is probably the wrong place.
    Thanks!

I'm wondering if you seasoned compers have an answer to this...

I won a phone from a major phone retailer and had no personal use for it, so I've put it up on eBay and sold it. Long story short, I had to go to Second Chance Offer and now the person I've offered it to wants to know how they can get insurance on it if I don't have a sale receipt.

Has anyone come up against this before - trying insure goods they won? The best I have is a letter from the retailer saying congrats on my "prize" but it doesn't name the phone or have a date on it.

    Help!

U stick it on ur house insurance! u tell them xxxx If they r buying it then it's down to them to sort it out not u!
Often after ebay and paypal fees u r better going to somewhere like mazuma as it works out pennies difference.
The Imei number will show if it stolen or not, also ur receipt of sale should suffice.
    Good luck xxxx

Edit: make sure u photograph the phone from every angle before sending and record everything, every mark, every number on it.

Is anyone who enters the Robinsons comp still getting the daily 'Sorry you didn't win' email? I haven't had one for a few days now.

I had a Pm from Autotrader earlier asking me to post a comp which was already posted, I said that to them and since then I've heard through the fb grapevine a few others are having the same pm?

I think it is a case for abuse if they keep on pming us.

Don't worry about it, i think it takes at least 5 people to click the expired button for a thread to be moved to game over :)
