The petrol station that I work at takes £700,000 a week...I very much doubt Tesco will miss £2,500 a year ;).

but what's that in pure profit terms after duty, overheads, etc.
not that i care or want to get off topic, but tesco chase individual customers so i'm sure they care.

i've been using tesco fuel paying with tesco credit card and saving up club card points :)

No idea, I know we make more money off the other stuff in the kiosk than the fuel though.
What is pi? Where did it come from?

My my, you must drive about 500,000 miles a year
    1,300miles a day
    at 70mph thats 18.5 hours

You must be buzzing how/when do you sleep?

Alternatively we could adjust that loss figure to £92 ;)

Let me guess, the website that used to be in the OP's sig is now in her avatar? :(

Ummmm.... so you think £2,500 worth of fuel will take you 500,000 miles? At £5 per gallon- it is of course rather more- that's 500 gallons- so a Ford Focus diesel will do 1,000 miles per gallon??? Must have one!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

You appear to have the IQ of a snail.

The poster said by taking his petrol buying activities away from Tesco, Tesco will have a potential loss of £2,500 per year.

I suggested that the actual loss would be closer to £92
  • Perhaps you should have specified whether you understood the "loss" to mean a loss of turnover (which is plainly what the poster meant by their statement) or a loss of profit (which is what you seem to have mistakenly taken the poster as meaning).

By being unspecific, you only caused confusion amongst the snail population.

    Steps to take
Write and DEMAND the cctv of your purchase under data protection, do not ask or request DEMAND.
State you require the full view of the entire station.
Then DEMAND the maintenance logs and that they make disclosure of any other complaints similar to yours, these can omit personal details for DPA but they should reveal if any similar complaints were made, this is required to prevent summons to court for questioning the staff and management, if it is not provided then an order for questioning under oath will be sought when the case is set.
