Impossible that I did (have the evidence). Still possible the garage did but very unlikely as the tank was virually full when I took the car in.

Maybe some one who used your website pee'd in your tank?
  • Thanks kittiej, this gives me a bit more ammunition when it comes to argueing my case.:)

ah yes,, it will come in useful... somebody on the internet said that they once had a problem somewhere at some point in history.
It'll be like having Perry Mason in your corner, they'll replace your car for you and everything.

You think the garage ran diagnostics on the diesel? cant see antything of any actual fact in any of the posts. Just an excuse to spam, google "hunnybunny86" just a trail of spammy posts for her/his sleazy affiliate site.

    load of nonsense.

Most likely that someone in the garage used your car then misfuelled it afterwards.
  • Thanks guys and girls for all your advice...I will give you all an update once I have more information from Tesco and the repairers!

Whilst i avoid tesco fuel because my car got noisy after filling up there. I presume it was a coincidence and

i bet i could easily find 20 posts that say dont fill up at BP.

just out of interest how did the garage establish that it was definitely the diesel from tesco? did they analyse the diesel somehow?
Come on, it's not rocket surgery is it?
