still has 1 month 66p offer to go, phoned up to give them 1 months notice to cancel. Offered 5 months half price to start immediately. I said I still have another month of 66p and asked if they can start this half price offer next month. Initially told no, I said I'll cancel and call back in a months time. CS then consulted a supervisor and agreed to starty new offer after the expiry of 66p next month.
No more cancel threats until Jan 2007!0 -

Guys, phoned through to Sky, got offered 1/2 price on the £36 package for 5 months....ok, had to wait for 20 mins using the number given on here.
Also if I phoned back saying was hoping they had a special offer on you could be offered the Skyplus package costing £263 in total for £64 !!! ie the £199 box is free; plus if you needed a new dish that would be included!!!

You say that but in actual fact I was tied in for 12 months from August last year and in January I rang up to say I wanted to cancel as I couldn't afford it any more - they put me through to cancellations, where they discovered that I was still under contract (Me: Oh, really, gosh!)
But when I said that was a real shame as I really couldn't afford it at the moment, they offered to give me 3 months half price anyway!! Then when the 3 months were up I rang back and did the same thing to get another 3 months half price - and the guy even said to me, ring back in another 3 months and I'll give you the same again!
Now my contract should actually be up so I'll be interested to see what I can get this time around!
