Yeah, Ive already had the 3mths half price before, and got my sky + replaced for free, but both times I was prepared to cancel.

I am prepared to cancel this time aswell as we are watching less and less premium channels, but need to keep them for sky + functionality the only decision id have to think about is if it was 25% off for a year - and tying in for another contract - then id not be as impressed.

    Hmmm - decisions - decisions.

Ok - phoned this morning. I just told them that I wanted to cancel as the programmes that are on just now are mainly repeats and im not really using it to its full potential.

Firstly he suggested cutting my package, so mentioned that I wouldnt want to lose functionality of Sky + if I was to keep it, so they offered me 20% off for a year or 3 mth half price (my previous 3mth offer finished last month). I told him i'd take the 3mths and could always call back when that offer finished.

So if you are putting it off - as the famous advertising slogan says "Just do it"

I hope you are using the freephone number (and special instructions to get through quicker!) as shown on https://www.saynoto0870.com ?

Tried this number today and it said it was for getting paper statements sent to you. Tried ignoring the message and didn't press anything but got a message telling me to ring the 0870 number. Anyone got any other freephone numbers??

You can get around this - you need to key in a dummy number - say 123 and then press hash key, if you do this 3 times then it will connect you to a representative.

Is there anything I can do to reduce our costs?

We had Sky installed in February this year, therefore we are on a 12 month contract. We pay £42.50 a month.

Apart from reducing our viewing package are we stuck 'till next February? Thanks.

Other than reducing your package I dont think that sky would do anything for you. They know that they cant lose you as a customer.
