Ooooo have just sold another book on Amazon. Their fees are horrendous, have they increased lately or is it just now that I'm noticing?
I dug out an old paid off credit card statement from the Halifax last night and noticed that I was paying ppi on it. Have just posted them a letter asking for it all back. I also found a mortgage statement from Birmingham Midshires who I used to have my mortgage with and have sent them the same letter. Don't know whether I'll get anything back but it's worth a try surely.
Postman not been today yet so have had no joys in the mail. Will update when he arrives. Off to do the ironing now Uuuurrrrgggghhh12/04/2019

I am waiting for 5 cc companies to get back to me re DH PPI - I have received two letters from each of them saying 'pls give us more time to sort this' so that is better than NO!
Enjoy the ironing and then pop over and do mine...........no wait thats rude........I will leave it over to you!LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.

I've reclaimed loads red and paid it back into my debt so the debt I've got now is substantialy less than it was. As for the ironing - no thank yoiu I've got enough here to keep me going for a week I'm sure.... x12/04/2019

Thanks Woowoo I wish it could be more but there just doesn't seem to be enough money for the month. Never mind, hopefully I'll get a few pounds together and try and pay some more off next week. I've got Family Allowance on Tuesday and am hoping to pay another £15 off with that.12/04/2019

Don't know how I'm going to manage it but I want to get the Shapely account down to under £250 by this time next week. Only money I'm expecting is family allowance but I've really got to feel as if I'm doing something. Don't know whether it's possible but I'm going to give it a go.....12/04/2019

You can do it, sometimes just the determination to reduce it to a certain amount is enough to get you there xLBM Aug 09: £18,650.47 - Current: £12,854.93 (£5946.79)
