  • Have got family allowance tomorrow so I'll be able to deduct another £15. Maybe getting the balance under £250 is achievable.

There is no point in negative thought, it takes up time and energy which could be used in a positive, happy way!
  • Thanks Red, when I deduct the £15 tomorrow I'll be under £300. Am just off to count my £2 jar. Don't think I've got very much but whatever is in the jar can come off the balance.

  • The balance today is £291.41. Have got £24 in £2 coins so going to bag that up and ask DD to pay it into Halifax today. Am going to have a good look at my Halifax tonight and see if there is a few pounds spare that I can utilise. Family allowance gone in and the £15 been transferred. Only other thing I have to pay is the phone bil :(

  • I need £11.41 by Saturday to get the balance to £250. Only money coming in is Tax Credits on Friday and I can't really see me managing to have any of that over. I've got some coppers bagged up in the cupboard waiting to be paid in so maybe I'll have to resort to paying those in to meet my target.

    7 days until payday.....

  • £4.62 in current account, £11.42 in Amazon (which I've just asked to be reimbursed) and £12.00 in coppers so there's a potential £28. If I could scrape £2 from the tax credits there's another £30 off the balance.

My head is absolutely swimming with numbers at the moment, but I think I'm getting somewhere.
