  • Fossil (the watch company) make the watches for armani. We found this out in the states when a factory shop for fossil was selling armani at cut price alongside its own watches.

(and they are damn good watches!!)

Brilliant; can you please confirm the name of the brand? I've not seen any premium own brand skincare there, only cheap stuff, so want to make sure I get the right one...

Patterson's of Scotland so the store manager told me anyway and I believe him. They are the nicest I have tasted.

OK thanks. I thought it might be Patterson's or Walker's.

click on the link above and you can see which range it is. not all stores sell it as it their premium range so only the large/high turnover stores will sell it

For the person who wanted an alternative to Special K, Lidl do a very similar cereal (unfortunately can't remember the exact name but packet is light blue) that has the same wheaty texture. Highly reccomended.
Ths signature is out of date because I'm too lazy to update it... :o
  • I was wondering if anyone can recommend any really nice washing powder/capsules/liquids etc that are cheap? I have no brand preference and can get to Asda, Tesco, Aldi, Lidl, Netto and Sainsburys. I was using Asda Smart Price but it now leaves my clothes smeling of chlorine and also is generally not as strongly scented as I'd like.

Rimmel make the MissSporty range of makeup
It comes from the same factory, to place an order (in retail) you ring the same number.
Only difference is MissSporty is aimed at under18's and every piece is less than £2 i think it is now.
    Check out the details though.
Collection 2000 comes from same factory as MaxFactor I believe - no experience
Bourjois is Channel - Asked a rep for Bourjois who confirmed.
Bourjois and Revlon makeup are also linked somehow - never did work that one out though
Love is the answer. At least for most of the questions in my heart,
Like why are we here? And where do we go?And how come it's so hard?
It's not always easy,And sometimes life can be deceiving,
I'll tell you one thing, its always better when we're together
  • Cheap TV's, DVD's etc don't last long. They are designed with cheap parts, and are not designed to last that long. ALBA, BUSH, GOODMANS, MURPHY RICHARDS are all the same company that make cheap rubbish. I had a ALBA stereo and it lasted 2 months until the tape deck broke, then 2 months later the CD player broke what a waste of £80.00.

I replaced this with JVC CD / Radio / Minidic player 10 years later still going strong £199 well spent.

we had a JVC CRT 20inch TV still going strong after almost 20 years, Panasonic Widescreen TV still going after almost 11 years.

Bush DVD Player died after 13 months (just as the warrenty wares off) - didn't like playing all DVD's anyway (were orignial discs too) . cost £15.00. Now got a Philips cost over twice as much at £50 and still working after 3 years and plays all discs..

Now Got a JVC LCD TV with 5 year warrenty (cheap TV's only come with 12 months warrenty).

It may be cheaper in the beginning but do you want to spead £100 every year on a replacement or go that bit extra and pay double the price and let it last 10 years plus.

At the end of the day you pay for Quality, if you are a tight !!!! you will end up spending more in the long run anyway.
