  • So where are Tesco Value cakes made; you say they're made in the North West and in Poland?

Now looking for cheap Stella Artois, Red Stripe, Carling or Fosters. Not that I'm a wino!!

My aunt worked for a pet food factory in Cambridgeshire; Felix food either went into Felix branded cans or pouches or Tesco's own branded cans/pouches depending on which day of the week it was!
I had wondered prior to her telling me as they're the only 2 types our cat will eat, he always leaves whiskas or any other "posh" or very cheap brand!

    thanks.

typically, however, my cats turn their noses up at felix or tesco's pouches.

    Looking forward to the future.

Does anyone know who might also make whiskas and a supermarket brand please? My cat adores it, but I'd like to get him on a supermarket brand. He hates felix btw.

    Thanks.

  • Anyone (and by anyone, I guess I mean Schamansky), like to pass judgement on the Beckers Pils, £9.99 for 5ltr next thursday at ALDI?

I found this online - scroll down to the individual reviews for a chuckle. http://translate.google.co.uk/translate?hl=en&sl=de&u=http://www.biertest-online.de/deutsch/ergebnisse/biere/beckers_pils.html&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=4&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3D%2522beckers%2Bpils%2522%26hl%3Den

Having said that, even the computer's German is better than mine.

  • Lidl was selling big boxes of real Scottish shortbread last year in black boxes. I asked the manager if they were really made in Scotland or in Romania or something and shipped back and sent out from Scotland. He said they were made by Patterson's of Scotland so he assumed they were made in Scotland. They are absolutely fabulous and by far the best shortbread that I have ever tried including a lot of very famous makes. They worked out comparatively cheap but we had to stop buying them. We all loved them so much they were disappearing in a day or two and they are soooooooooooo fattening.

I wouldn't bother. Becker is one of Aldi's German and continental store brands, quite bland, nothing special at all. I'd rather invest the 10 quid in DAB or Wernesgrüner.
  • I buy the Lidl shortbread fingers at 55p. It says Castello on the packet.

    Who makes them ?

I want to thank you:T for answering this question; I was wondering if Tesco cat food was made by the manufacturers of Felix and now I know.
Your cat sounds even fussier then my fussy one and she's a picky little madam!

Patterson's of Scotland so the store manager told me anyway and I believe him. They are the nicest I have tasted.
