Time to grin and bear it William and you must have held your tonge in that long long meeting or else the outcome could have been much worse. You still have your job and that is the main thing. You haven't lost any money through this as you were on full pay when suspended

Now, it is time to move on - chill out tonight petal and breathe again - as Kit said, everyone was pulling for you and the prayers, chants, and whatever else was done certainly worked

I know that you feel that you are now in a very awkward position regarding fellow workers, but hopefully they will take this as a warning to them too and not slip off early for fear of the repercussions

I will delete this if you want me to but i want to say if that was all they could find to criticise you on after a quarter of a century of working for them you are a pretty exceptional employee by anyone's standards.

SW, I was shocked at how much they had on me, though I do remember smiling when I remembered the incident with the stroppy barister who had used the ultimate phrase "do you know who I am" to me, and I put out a PA asking if anyone had lost a fat 40ish man in a suit, who seemed to suffering from amnesia! Unfortunately he wasn't impressed and neither was the manager who was coming up the escalator at the time.

It was like Big Brother but they w/couldnt get rid of you as you are too good. i will delete part of this in a mo. You will learn from this, treat it as a place to earn money. Enjoy parts of your job but do not give them your heart and your soul. You know who your friends are now, be professional and you hold your head high. You beat them all, bloody schaudenfreude. Focus on recovering - boy you will be shattered tomorrow, spending time with your family. And lastly, and very importantly, start planning what you will do when your debts are paid off. Increase investment in the Matrix (you are inspiring me to get my !!! into gear too) and you will fly my friend.

Sooooo blooody happy. Been shouting ORGASM on susan's thread!!! in red too. Hooray.

Susan is 3dogs, we (aesop, boult, beanie, 3dogs) all live on her thread. We are having orgasms (metaphorical you understand) as we are celebrating the fact that you are ok. You are WilliamD1964 and you still have a job, a wonderful family and your sense of humour. Onwards and upwards my friend.
