When you say rating system Martin , do you mean the post counts were going to scrapped or have I got it mixed up
Don't we already have a recommended post, as in, ie post of the month.
I lost approx 1600 off my post count and 2 star's:(0 -
The new forum seem very fast today. Faster than the old one.0

I don't really think the post count or number of stars next to your name matter that much - as Martin has explained they're lost, so in the words of an unlucky bargain hunter "time to move on"
We can all build those up again so it's not a problem. However, I really do miss the ability to change your registered name to a display or screen name, and most definitely miss the avatars and these are things we can't do anything about ourselves so it would be fantastic if this feature reappeared...is that going to be possible?
I don't like the stars rating feature of a post on each actual forum so it would be nice if that was removed!0 -

Why does it say I (and many others when I look at their profiles) last visited here on th 1st Jan 1970? I wasn't even thought about then! How can I change it PLLLLLEEEEAAAASSSE
EDIT: never mind - I logged off and came back on and it had changed. I'll leave this question on though just in case anyone else asks.
Well I was looking forward to getting my 1000th post - it had taken me 18 months to get 900! Never mind - the number of posts does not equal amount of useful input / knowledge etc I suppose  .......(just as well for me)

1 Jan 1970 is the date from which computers start counting time (don't ask why...)
If you've not logged on to the new forum before now then it will show that by default.
If you log out and back in again it should change to the correct date.student100 hasn't been a student since 2007...0
