Been trying since Monday to log in but only just achieved it.
First time message said I had tried 5 times with wrong username/password.
Got email from site and reset password.
Still no good as message said logged in and Redirecting but site redirected me to the log in page.
But today finally it accepted my log in.
Somebody must have been working hard to sort these problems out. Thanks.

Just like to say Martin ..... how long is the other test site going to be around? And, Thanks to you and the team ... we had a great time on there!! *smilie face ... can't put a real one in 'cos I've used my limit!*

LOL:D . Some things never change.........do they ....ALLY? , but questions now.- Test site. What test site?
- How do you make an avatar? I miss my Homer.
If you move your mouse over your smiley it'll turn into 4 arrows. Then just click and drag.
IT DOES HONEST, but when it posts they revert
You can spend your time alone re digesting past regrets,
Or you can come to terms and realize you're the only one who can forgive yourself.
Makes much more sense to live in the present tense.

My signature now says "Something Missing" but since I didn't have a signature it should say "Something Added"
and I tried to do a shortened link in HTML and it didn't work.
er..... otherwise its nice0 -

'quick links'
'edit signature'
then you can change or delete it:)0 -
think there's quite a few like me who come on a handful of times a day and used to get either 200 recent posts or up to 500 through the search facility ... and it would just be one long list to scroll down showing the board the title and the words of the posting.
Quite often i'd even download the whole thing onto my hard drive to read later offline (only took a few seconds even on dial up) .
with this facility i could fair wizz down the postings just reading some/all of whichever postings took my interest,.
We don't seem to have this facility of the new style board .. there is recent posts or todays posts and each page has detail on 25 postings but just the heading .I know you can hover the mouse and see the content ,,, that is a good idea .. but you either click on the heading and then have to go through various pages of postings on that thread or can go to the latest posting and basically work backwards.
I've found in the last couple of days that i end up looking at no more than a handful of postings ... a tiny fraction of what i previously did ... i just seem to fly through the pages with 25 headings and think there's probably little new said on recent postings and it's too much time and effort going into the thread to check ... when often people just post one or two word bits of chat etc.
any chance we can get the old style format facility ??? .. even it was just a one click to show 500 posts in full .. even just a one click to download that ??0 -
If you go into your own Control Panel and edit options you then can set various things as to the way you would read posts.

The site seems to be loading a lot faster for me in that last couple of days.
Top work.
I have noticed that when I open a thread after a few seconds it will jump to a different position on the thread, still within the same page and I have to scroll back up. It isn't that annoying, but it would be interesting to see if this is happening with everyone.
Or is it my eyes jumping about all on their own.I started off with nothing and I've still got most of it left.0 -

If you click on the name of the thread, it shouldn't jump at all.
If you click on the little arrow pointing down beside the thread name, this should take you to the first post you have not read
If you click on the little arrow pointing to the right (in the last post column) this should take you to the last post in the thread0
