Huh, I had not heard that. Weird. I'll have to pop into the travel agents and ask about it! We'll just have to boycott it if that's the case (not difficult, we only went once last time because we were so tired we were going to bed at about 10.30 every night)... or keep popping out to another bar for a drink then going back in!

I think BIL2B has a good travel speaker set so he's bringing that, we've got ipods but I'm not sure if we'll be allowed to use them. May just have to tip the bar staff a few bob to look the other way! I'm not really that bothered about it all TBH, it'll all work out when we get there and there's a good group of us, we'll have fun whatever we do! I'm trying not to get hung up on negatives and look forward to the positives, what's the point in worrying about things you can't change? :cool:

Well they must have flown first class and stayed in the very best hotel! Or she didn't do a very good job of shopping around for a good deal! Think she's yanking your chain a little there, we'll spend nowhere near that, even if we had kids we wouldn't spend half that!

Yeah I know positive positive, just being the H2B and suggesting dominican and the rest for the wedding I feel so responsible if it doen't do my bride justice.........please god no rain .

LOL, just do what I did and wait for the occasion to get it out! It's not too formal, it'll look lovely with a cardigan and pink shoes for afternoon tea with the girls etc. £39 is a total bargain too!
