  • Hi Birdie,
Have you heard of the cut backs on the nightclub drinks and optics in the rooms..... also what time are you getting married and what are you doing after ceremony......sorry if you wrote this already.
Also some friends said they had major problems now with the locals taking over even though thompsons are now saying this has been sorted.
    Thanks in advance

We got a letter about the optics and we were gutted! We'll just take cups to the bar to get filled up and keep in the room, as the B&G we get a free bottle of rum anyway so that can be kept for pre dinner drinks! We only drank so much in the room last time we were there because it was there and we could, we're not massive drinkers normally. I don't know about nightclub cutbacks, what are they?

We've requested to get married at 4pm but that'll be confirmed when we arrive. Afterwards we'll be having drinks then dinner and we plan on taking over a bar for a little unofficial (i.e. not paid for!) party.

When we were there in October the locals were allowed in at the weekend and they did seem to be everywhere but they were no worse than other Brits and Germans TBH. We're going to try to plan some weekend day trips to get away from them a bit though.

Glad you like the dresses Tete! I really do love the cream one too, it's a really lovely heavy cotton and hangs beautifully. My wedding shoes look great with it too! If I dare wear them outside... :o

  • Hi,
Apparently the Nightclub is now charging for drinks as well :(
Are you going to take an ipod and speakers or anything like that for your own music?? (At your private party :D)

Thanks for that! Apparently there's a new ticket coming out that covers all of the parks rather than having to get a Disney one and an 'Everything Else' one (clevery called 'The One') so we'll have to price that up and see what works out cheaper. It's crazy how much the tickets cost, OH nearly had a heart attack when I told him! And when you factor in Mickey Mouse ears, t-shirts, cuddly toys, overpriced ice creams etc it's not a cheap holiday! But I can't wait!
